Closed on Sunday morning. Even though Google said they were open. So unfortunately, I drove there for nothing.

I was determined to visit Reggae Rita's on our trip to Amsterdam from the UK - I was not disappointed! The food was top quality. I had the curry goat meal and my partner had the brown stew chicken meal - authentic jamaican cooking at its finest. Rita and her son are just lovely people. The whole experience was fantastic. The cocktails at the Labyrinth bar were delicious too! Great atmosphere, reminds me of a jazz club. Highly recommend that if you are in Amsterdam you visit. Hidden gem! Thank you.

Really nice food. Lovely staff and great decor. It felt pretty pricey for the amount of food we had, but it was delicious. Would come back for a special occasion.

I had a rather wonderful meal, and it was a great value for money. I went for the four-course chef’s menu, and I loved every dish. The flavours were perfectly balanced. The starter, confit cod, was very refreshing. The main course, pork neck, was incredibly tender, dressed in a sweet caramel and balsamic like sauce, which was very nice. And the dessert? It tasted like a white chocolate mousse with ice cream in the middle, all dressed in strawberry sauce, and it was absolutely fantastic. Would go back anytime

Very disappointing experience — tourists should ask about extra charges We visited Long Pura with our one-year-old toddler. The food was fine, but we were disappointed by the lack of clarity about additional charges. The staff offered shrimp chips for our child, which we accepted, assuming they were complimentary. They were later added to the bill without any clear explanation beforehand. Bottled water was also brought to the table without clearly stating that it was a paid item, and staff repeatedly offered more. When the bill arrived, we were also reminded that the 15% tip was not included, which felt like pressure to leave that amount. As visitors from the United States, we expected clearer communication about anything that would increase our bill. If an item costs extra, customers should be told before it is served. Our advice to tourists: ask the price of anything offered, including water and snacks for children, and don’t feel obligated to leave a 15% tip simply because staff point out that it isn’t included. I felt deceived and very dissatisfied.
