It’s a bubble tea place now, but the staff was really mean!!

Ugh, where to start? The food was bland, although the girl working at the front was excellent and very friendly. The hygiene, however, was unacceptable. I saw the kitchen employee using his phone while handling food, touching his nose, and then continuing to prepare food without washing his hands. The restaurant itself was filthy: dirty tables, lamps, floors and kitchen windows, what looked like mold around the garden doors, and a messy garden area that looked more like a dumping ground. There was even an extension cord hanging from the ceiling. For a restaurant focused on fresh and healthy food, this level of cleanliness and hygiene is shocking.

Good Place For a Cup of Coffee!!!

Izakaya was a wonderful surprise and definitely one of our favorite spots in Amsterdam. We arrived very late, practically at closing time, and despite that, the staff were incredibly kind to us. Instead of making us feel like we'd arrived at the wrong time, they took the time to welcome us, offer advice, and help us choose what was still available to order. We really appreciated that. And above all: it was truly excellent. The ingredients were top-quality, the cooking perfectly executed, the presentation beautifully done, and the flavors perfectly balanced. We tried several things, and everything was delicious, from the fish dishes to the small plates meant for sharing. Even arriving so late, we didn't feel like we were having a "last-minute" experience at all. I also really loved the atmosphere of the place, quite elegant and intimate, with the counter offering a view of part of the food preparation. You immediately get the sense that you're in an establishment where the quality of the food and the cuisine is taken seriously. A huge thank you to the team for the warm welcome despite the late hour. Between the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere, we had a wonderful time.

Good morning, I have tried many times to contact you and send complaints, as there is a problem related to the restaurant that I own now, which is gusto Italian Amsterdam, located Lange niezel 16D poste code 1012GT. This is the new name of the restaurant, but the old name, Argentango Steakhouse, is still there. I do not know who owns it, and I would like you to please remove Argentango Steakhouse from the map, as it is located at the same address. Thank you for your help, gusto Italian Amsterdam.

Excellent tacos with delicious steak bravette and pulled pork. A delicious chilli chocolate taco for dessert too. Good atmosphere and attentive service. Music, decor and food a bit of a mix but it works and if we were in Amsterdam for longer we'd have gone back.
