Honestly!
Definitely the best shawarma in all of Amsterdam.
Unfortunately, it's gotten quite expensive, but then again, that's true for everything in the Netherlands.
If you want a delicious shawarma sandwich, Dizinghof remains the best.
And when ordering takeout, just politely ask for extra sauce; they're never too stingy with it.
Delicious food beautifully presented, friendly, fast service, and a beautiful, upscale atmosphere. Absolutely recommended! (And they have excellent Scroppino!)
There is a big difference between the appearance of the place and the quality of the products inside. We ate a gluten-free chocolate cake, and it tasted really bad. It was really poor for the price…
We were not very happy about our visit, no vegan options, so no starters, we tried two veg pizzas, wasn’t impressive, wine selection was nice, service was slow and felt sorry for the pizza guy who was alone and trying to make pizzas for 100 ppl :/
Nicely decorated: the walls and decor look great :) However, the way some of the tables are arranged (no flowers or anything) reminded me a bit of a cafeteria. If you want a lot of meat in your meal, this is the place for you. There wasn't enough vegetables, and unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was very cheap... Service was okay.
A large and busy restaurant, yet cozy and warm. The wait for our food was surprisingly short, despite the crowd. We had delicious tuna bread. Great place!
The food, service, and people who work there are simply fantastic. They are happy to help you by phone or in person at their restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone who visits or orders from them!
Fantastic authentic Caribbean food in a Caribbean atmosphere, very reasonable prices, and above all, fantastic service! Delicious oysters as a starter, pulpo and ceviche for the mains, and a good wine with excellent recommendations for our choice. And a delicious Peruvian cake for dessert. The service is attentive, helpful, and incredibly friendly. And that in Amsterdam! It was an unexpectedly wonderful evening.
