De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Had a fantastic meal at Spaghetteria Javaplein! Loved the concept, informal pasta cafe style. As a family we where seated at a large family table, which added to the friendly atmosphere without being intrusive. The food options were fantastic. My wife is gluten free, which prior research suggested they could manage - and they did with no fuss at all. Whilst not advertised, they do have two kids options - pasta with tomato sauce or butter sauce. Our adventurous 7 year old liked the sound of the prawn gnocchi from the adults menu, so the friendly staff whipped up a kids size portion of that instead. We were very impressed. I had the pistachio and garlic spaghetti, which was brilliant - great flavours. My wife had the mussels with spaghetti which she said was delicious. The deserts where good too. I demolished a tiramisu (though it came with two spoons, so this was probably a hint I was being greedy). Daughter loved the pistachio cannoli, my wife enjoyed a decaf affrogato. This ended up being out favourite place we ate in Amsterdam! I would highly recommend!

Absolutely awful! I strongly advise against coming here. Don't make the mistake of trying this! It's not barbecue, it's deep-fried, and the food is stale. People with sensitive stomachs should definitely avoid it.

A real Amsterdam snack bar. Looks like a time capsule from the 2000s. Friendly owner. Great place to grab a quick greasy bite in the evening.

I have order a shaorma pizza take away, but was not thinking in 2026 a restaurant will deliver themselves such a 0 rated food. This is the worst all time food of my life!

Waiting 90 minutes for delivery, that took a long time! But the sushi was delicious!

Ordered for delivery. Food was excellent and hot as if i had cooked it myself but much tastier. Highly recommend.

The food was very tasty and fresh. We were surprised by the owner, who actually got us in from the entrance in Polish. 😃 He was a very nice man who treated us to hot "bread" at the house's expense. We highly recommend it!

Great idea! We tried a cheese empanada that was pretty good! It tasted fresh out of the oven!

Delicious burgers, short wait times, attentive service and friendly waiters, reasonable prices and a good location. Excellent.
