De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

We placed an order, and it came wrong twice. On top of that, even though we asked a young waiter for water five times, it never arrived. The tea and coffee we ordered at the very beginning still hadn’t come even after we finished our breakfast. By the way, it’s very strange — wrong orders are being delivered to every table, and there are 4–5 plates just sitting around with no owner. If you can’t manage table service or don’t have a waiter who can take orders correctly, you could switch to self-service. We shouldn’t be the ones to teach you this, right?

Strange place… the location is fantastic, next to the water and very central. But… even for Amsterdam standards, the lack of service was a little ridiculous. They seem to be very understaffed. You have to order at the bar; the man who I assume is the owner was very grumpy to me and other customers. There was also a woman who appeared to be a friend/relation of the owners, who was either very drunk, high or both, acting quite peculiarly and walking into me whilst laughing as I stood waiting to be served. Disappointing as it has a lot of potential purely down to its location.

The ribs were tender and tasty, and the hamburger meat was tasty; the potatoes were just average, like regular potato chips.

Everything was good until one Bartender thinks he is the boss and can do whatever he wants. Clearly he is the most ignorant and stupid person I have ever met in Bar. Behaved like a beggars.

A true hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam. Incredible Argentine steaks, full of flavor and perfectly grilled. Warm, intimate atmosphere and genuinely friendly service. Absolutely worth discovering.

Had a delicious meal at this Turkish restaurant today. The food quality is really good, especially the meat, which is very fresh and pure. Portions are generous and perfect for an adult. Definitely recommended.

Me and my friend went here late on a Friday night (17/10) after a local bar. We greeted by a really lovely and friendly waitress. She couldn’t have been any nicer. We ordered spicy mince Adana and the chicken wings. It seemed a little pricey but when it arrived the portions were huge! We were so happy as we had skipped dinner. The food was so tasty and delicious! We had such a great meal here, I’ve saved the location for next time I visit Amsterdam!

Delicious! And Mrs. Maria is quite a character. It was a pleasure to meet her and share a meal with such a beautiful woman, feeling right at home. The food was delicious, everything was spectacular.

We made a reservation through Diner Cadeau and also mentioned that we had a Diner Cadeau voucher. Once we arrived, we asked again if we could redeem the voucher there. The answer was no, something to do with the owner, blah blah blah. Okay, so be it, if the atmosphere had been more pleasant, I would have stayed and just paid cash, but the atmosphere was gone. We quickly left and found another nice place (where we just pay cash). Another experience richer and one illusion poorer.

Disgraceful. The DJs ruined the whole evening. They were all over the place. Poor music selection. I'm a loyal fan, but Saturday, December 6th, is incredibly bad. Never again, please.
