De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

I thought I'd have a nice dinner before the show. I ordered a cappachino for starters. I can only say that the waitress did her best to please everyone. But to supply an entire restaurant with everything by yourself was a bit much. After a much too long wait, the carpaccio arrived. I had ice cream in my mouth with the first bite. By then, I'd practically eaten and drunk. What they didn't tell me was that it was a carpaccio with a blackhead! You can see the explanation in the video. Finally, I ordered a pasta carbonara and a pizza stagioni. After waiting over 45 minutes, the main course arrived. The pizza had a layer of water on it that looked like Lake Garda. And the pasta carbonara was changed to bolognese without any consultation. I tried to eat the pizza to avoid making a fuss, and it was actually returned to the kitchen. Considering it was untouched, I think the chef got the message. What a disappointment in this restaurant. I can't put it any other way. The only thing they would do would be to refund my €52, just as I returned the pizza and carpaccio.

For the past year and a half, I've found a stable, pleasant, and welcoming workspace at Stadionplein. In the Vlaamsch Broodhuys, I've peacefully composed all sorts of music in the mornings, while the space slowly fills with the pleasant hum of people enjoying excellent coffee (and more). I've honestly never encountered a staff member who didn't give me a friendly welcome, which, of course, gives me a wonderful boost of energy to get started. Therefore, I see no reason to go anywhere else; it's good here, and I hope it will produce lots of beautiful, inspiring music! Egmont Swaan

The waiter Alex was funny and helpful. Food was excellent here as well.

The food is terrible: lukewarm, undercooked, soggy, sauceless, with lots of onions and melted cheese. The kitchen is chaotic, and it's painful to watch quite a few staff members running around like headless chickens, without any visible cooperation or system. The food takes an exceptionally long time to be ready, and it has to be checked at all times because something is missing from the order. The restaurant is uninviting, and the rooms are downright filthy, with trash everywhere, dirty floors, and tables that I don't even bother using the restroom there. Even for a fast-food chain, Burger King doesn't do a thing!

We hebben hier heerlijk geluncht. Vriendelijke eigenaar en goed eten. Originele pizza’s die fantastisch smaken. We waren er met 3 pubers en die hadden hun buik goed vol. Wij gaan hier zeker terugkomen.

Food was amazing but when do you guys open again ive been trying to visit but no one answers my calls and on the front door it says you open 30 june which is almost 2 months ago

Unacceptable — be careful! Went with friends. A female friend was touched inappropriately on the breast by a security guard. When we confronted her, we were thrown out. The police didn't take us seriously at the scene. No apology, no investigation. Don't feel safe here.

waiting nearly 2 hours for our food to be delivered to our hotel when the takeaway is only 5 minute drive, very rude on the phone when we rang multiple times asking where our food was kept getting told 5/10 minutes and to just wait outside. When the food finally arrived it was horrible the pizza wasn’t even cut properly had to rip it apart to try and get a slice. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

The woman at the counter was attentive, the view was beautiful, but the hygiene in the kitchen leaves much to be desired. I saw the cook working with his bare hands. He had one hand over his mouth, then took my melanzane out of the oven and sprinkled grated cheese on it—again with his hand. He also pressed a piece of paper into a container for the fries with his bare fist. Later, he walked through the restaurant with trays, touched displayed products, and continued preparing food without washing his hands. Who knows what else he touched. Personal hygiene should be a top priority for cooks. I had an uneasy feeling about it. My melanzane went into the clearing trolley untouched. Hopefully, hygiene will be addressed soon, because the OBA deserves better.

“Crispy” king, super crispy indeed. For a mushy potato we pais 8.50€, sauce 1.50 and fries 7€. Money trap. Go to dutch vafe instead with 8.50 you can get 2 bowl of fries and cozy athmosphere with wc, water and all the other amenities.

The Bamischijf is delicious! Honestly the best I‘ve ever had. I can also recommend the Kip Korn. Fries are fine. The atmosphere isn’t the coziest, but perfect for takeout or on the go.

Honestly, super good and so affordable !

DO NOT COME HERE, they They charged us €40 for a slice of cake, a donut, a croissant, a churro, and a coffee and smoothie.
