Via Groupon hier terechtgekomen.
This is a 3rd visit when we order sustainable reusable cups but get regular single use ones.
Please investigate why this is happening so that we can reduce waste!
You can't even choose from more than half the menu, so you finally opted for nasi satay and saoto. Payment can be made with cash or a tikkie, which is a bit vague.
The nasi was subpar and the saoto was simply spoiled! And there were pieces of döner in it instead of regular chicken?? This place is a real disaster and should be closed down. Don't waste your time, money, or appetite here.
I had a very unpleasant experience here. We were a small group with a bill of €37 and asked to split the payment between two cards, but the staff refused. At first, we were told they only accepted cash, which was already frustrating since we didn’t have any. Then, we were asked to pay half in cash, half by card — a strange and inconvenient request.
When we explained that we only had cards, the staff became visibly annoyed and quite rude. There was no attempt to explain the policy politely or accommodate us in any way. Once we finally managed to pay, the server walked off without a single “thank you” or even a basic apology for the inconvenience or attitude.
The whole interaction left a really bad impression. I would not return or recommend this place based on the way we were treated.
Don't recommend
I've gotten a sandwich three times for my commute. Each time, the rolls were old and soggy instead of baked. You expect to get a nice, fresh sandwich at 8:30. But today was absolutely out of whack. I paid €6 for a "salmon sandwich," but it was a day-old roll with nothing on it. You can't charge people €6 for this. I took two bites and then threw it away.
Delivery and service were fast and efficient, but the food was a disappointment! Come on! We paid almost €30 for a tough, cold, tasteless pizza and lukewarm pasta. The pizza arrived in a damaged box with half the pizza stuck together. Definitely not recommended. Especially not after a busy day when all you want is a delicious meal… a real waste of money!
My girlfriend and I ate here after ADE. The food was really good! Great service, and the staff were very accommodating to food allergies. It had a lovely atmosphere too; we'll definitely be back!
We ordered burgers and were disgusted. The meat was undercooked and had a strange texture (the waiter said that was normal), and the "burger buns" were dry and straight from the packaging. We were charged extra for sides, even though they should be included with a regular burger! The curly fries were cheap and deep-fried. The price was outrageous for this food. We definitely do not recommend it!
One of the best roti shops in Amsterdam, their sandwiches are also delicious. They do need to work on delivery, but eating there or taking away is always great.
