What a party: tastes, smells, colors. Excellent service; professional and pleasant. In one word: do it!

One of the best coffee spots in Alkmaar has to be De Koffiemolen, with its excellent Bocca coffee. This cozy, plant-filled coffee bar also serves breakfast, a fresh lunch, or homemade pastries. The delicious Sunny Bowl is highly recommended, beautifully decorated with various toppings, making it a feast for the eyes. De Koffiemolen is a place you'll want to return to.

The food was delicious with a cozy ambiance and a super friendly staff. Our favorite dish was the ceviche (we even ordered twice!) Definitely coming back.

Came here due to seeing Mooncake's review of it. I have to say.. it's just Indian food. Samosa were overcooked, pan fried dumplings in sesame sauce were nice, mixed grill was so/so. Restaurant is very narrow. Hard to pass by seeing the staff is often serving their tables. The 'popular movie classical' music was set too loud. And the acoustics of the place are not good.. hard to speak to your dinner guest. Gave it a shot, will not return.

Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the margarita mousse for dessert ! And tacos are great !

Hemos visitado este restaurante ya dos veces en los últimos meses (tanto colegas como familiares). Todo sobre este lugar es bueno, la comida, el servicio, los precios, las decoraciones del lugar e incluso los clientes! Sin duda lo recomiendo si quieres tener comida sabrosa en The Hagu y al mismo tiempo algo diferente a los sándwiches de siempre!

We had a tasting menu with a whisky pairing... everything was excellent, from the service to the bill, and the kindness and friendliness of the staff... if you're in Alkmaar, treat yourself to a different evening...

In een mooi en sfeervol kader genoten van een absolute toplunch. Heerlijke natuurlijke smaken, mooie presentatie, zeer lekkere bijpassende wijnen en hapjes. Daarbij zeer vriendelijke bediening. Kortom, absolute aanrader.

Great spot! All food is Halal .We had the beef sandwich, shrimp pasta with cream sauce, chicken pasta with cream sauce, and half grilled chicken — everything was super tasty and well-cooked. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Definitely coming back if we visit the Netherlands again.

When the food was served I saw a bag on my plate. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a cleaning cloth for your hands. Personally I don't think this fits on the plate. I would have liked to see it on a separate plate. The mixed grill was just cooked although the waitress hadn't asked how I wanted my meat. A bit of a shame. The service is otherwise good and the atmosphere makes up for a lot.

Geweldig, knus restaurantje met een ontzettend leuke kaart en erg goed eten. Ook de bediening was ontzettend vriendelijk. Absolute aanrader!
