Fine all-you-can-eat restaurant with a number of dim sum dishes. The stuffed chili pepper and shrimp toast were particularly to our liking. Plenty of choice, and it's nice that you can order 5 items every round. Some dishes were a bit on the salty side, though. We were able to eat here slightly cheaper via Social Deal.
Staff were rude to their customers; you ask for WHITE bread when ordering and the lady in question claimed that brown is white these days??!!? A bit weird!! With new customers, I would expect that to get them excited about your business, but not here! In our opinion, the tomato soup was from a Unox or supermarket packet, we had to wait well over an hour for a STARTER to be served, and if your glass was empty, you had to hope the owner walked by. The atmosphere is somewhat Rotterdam-style with a large photo of the Erasmus Bridge, but otherwise cold and boring.
What a terrible restaurant this is! We made a reservation in advance for cheese fondue with bread, baby potatoes, and vegetables. The cheese wasn't at the right temperature and was of very poor quality. They didn't have any baby potatoes left, and everything else was so disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It later became clear why it was so bad: they declared bankruptcy.
We visited for the first time this weekend. The service was very friendly and the drinks varied and delicious (the mango smoothie is amazing and the iced coffee wonderfully creamy). We enjoyed spending an hour or two on the lovely terrace; we will definitely be back!
