The service alone is worth a visit. We ended up laughing at the whole experience. But let's start from the beginning. First off, the food was perfectly fine. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, and there was no reaction from the staff. I went to the bar to say, "Hey, we're here, where can we sit?" The staff seemed engrossed in their own discussion and ignored me for quite some time. It was amusing to watch. After a while, the barky, almost incomprehensible staff asked what I wanted. My request for the round table by the window was met with a nonchalant, almost obligatory "Go ahead, we have more important things to do." After waiting a while at the table, the server returned with a sigh and asked what we wanted to drink. When we asked for the menu, she disappeared again. Eventually, the menu arrived and was handed to us with a behavior that was almost detrimental to business. We started to find it hilariously funny, and this continued at every table throughout the evening. The service really deserves 5 stars because of the unforgettable performance. As I said, the food was okay.

We stayed in Nijmegen during the last week of September 2026. A very pleasant and cheerful café/bistro. Lovely terrace, super friendly staff. The Prosecco is definitely recommended. That was our daily aperitif there around lunchtime. The food is tasty and beautifully presented. The price-quality ratio is certainly good. We were always warmly welcomed by the likeable Willemijn. She knew exactly which wine paired with the dishes. A bullseye every time! Be sure not to miss the delicious cheesecake. The finest cheesecake I have ever eaten. A bistro not to be forgotten anytime soon. Thank you!

Heerlijke lunch genuttigd samen met mijn schoondochter en kleinzoon. De cappucino was ook heerlijk. Prachtig interieur en vriendelijk personeel. Super mooi uitzicht op t plein en aan het water van de Gaatkensplas. Gezellige muziek binnen en op het mooie terras. Wij komen hier graag.

The service was very friendly and they even helped us with the translation. We especially liked the cream cheese on the rolls! The drinks were good too.

Pickup took 20 minutes, so perfect, and the food was good. The atmosphere inside is somewhat uninviting.

Had dinner here last night and tried 3 burgers - Classic Burger (with Bacon), Creamy Chicken Burger and Zesty Chicken Burger. All came wholesome and really stuffed, served with fries, salad and dips. We had a Birra Moretti, a glass of Pinot Blush and an Ice Tea Peach with it. Bill came to €72.20 for 3 people. Atmosphere: nice. Right in the Veldhoven city centre but tucked away in the corner, so it feels cozy. Lots of groups chatting, people coming for a drink with buddies — it's as much a bar hangout as a restaurant. If you like a lively, beer-first place, you'll love it. Service: Good and attentive. Our server Pieter was quick and friendly. Food Quality: Ok to good. Portions are generous and satisfying, good comfort food. Price: A bit on the pricier side for burgers, but worth a try once. Overall: A good spot for a casual evening with friends. Food is solid, vibe is ok. Would recommend for a try — especially if you're here for drinks and a hearty burger. Rating: 4/5

Weekend away in Rotterdam. Thought I'd have a nice meal there. Closed Friday afternoon. Closed Saturday afternoon too. The website lists the times it is supposed to be open.

We had made a reservation and are standing in front of a closed door on a Friday evening...

What a terrible chip shop. There is a young lady working there who I don't think enjoys her job at all. She comes across as uninterested and isn't very pleasant to talk to. The tables are so sticky that your elbow sticks to them. The young lady walks outside with a cloth after people have finished eating, then looks at the table and walks back in without even wiping it down. The price-quality ratio is also very expensive. One portion of fries with special toppings and one frikandel with special toppings costs almost 10 euros. Now, I wouldn't mind this at all if the food were of good quality. The fries are fried way too hard and tough; it looks like they went into the oil a second time. And for the price you pay, they are very stingy with the sauce. All in all, one of the worst chip shops I have ever eaten at. We were shopping in Oss for the day, but I will walk right past this chip shop next time. My advice to anyone reading this is to find another chip shop, because for two people you will spend 20 euros for two portions of fries and two snacks, and the quality is really substandard, especially for the price you pay. And hygiene leaves nothing to be desired. It's a shame, because the chip shop looks nicely decorated, which is also the reason why we wanted to eat there.

Begrijp de vermeldde recensies niet. Gezellig restaurant met vriendelijke mensen. Tipan gerechten waren heerlijk. Biertje op de juiste temperatuur. We konden de auto gratis parkeren achter het restaurant. Waar vindt je dat nog in Den Haag. Kortom aan te raden.

The price was right. The pizza was delicious.
