I found the service very friendly, the tapas delicious and not greasy.
The first red and white house wines were okay for a house wine. Afterward, I had another glass of red, and it didn't seem the same. Really subpar. A bottle for €3.95, or one that had been open too long. I left it.
The atmosphere was nice, but the music was too loud, even after we asked to turn it down. Later that evening, we were left in the cold.
I would happily return for the food and the friendly people. On the other hand, I hope they do something soon, because that's putting me off meeting up again.
Warning! Check the bill before paying. €14.80 for two hot chocolates without whipped cream. When I commented on that, I was reprimanded.
€7.40 turned out to be the correct amount.
The staff has absolutely no experience in the restaurant industry! See also Mark's comment from two weeks ago about the prices.
We will never be back either.
Yesterday we went to eat. Upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes when someone came. We sat by the window. It was very cold. I put my coat there. We received bread, which wasn't baked properly. The dishes weren't really optimal, lacking flavor. A lot of sauce was too much. Over-portioned: four pieces of melon with two small pieces of ham and steak. The hamburger hadn't melted the cheese. A lot of mess on the floor. Tables weren't cleared immediately, which made for a nasty sight, even for customers. Then you order your dessert. The lady who came told you that you had ordered cheesecake; it still had to thaw. It wasn't very professional. When it arrived, it was still frozen. I paid and left. Bad experience for me, I'll never eat here again.
We booked through Social Deal a month and a half in advance, and on the day itself, we were canceled. We called several times to ask why we were canceled, but each time we received a different answer. It basically meant someone else was getting priority over Social Deal. They were very rude on the phone. Don't go along with that. I also reported it to Social Deal.
We ate on Boxing Day. We were a bit early, and after asking if that was a problem, the manager hysterically told us there was a change of the second shift and we had to go back outside into the icy cold. By then I was pretty much done with it. There was plenty of room at the bar, so from now on, ask us to wait there. It's a bit more customer-friendly in this cold weather. The food was okay, the desserts were supermarket-quality. The only positive was the friendly girls who brought the food. The people behind us had a big hair in their dessert, and then it was over. We paid and drove home with screeching tires. They won't call us again to eat there.
My wife and I dined at your place yesterday. Except for the cappuccino, the quality of the food was very poor. The chicken didn't smell fresh and lacked flavor. The spare ribs were almost blackened and not marinated well. The woman who served us was friendly, by the way.
P.S. I tried calling you. Since no one is answering, I'll leave this review.
Dear all,
I now see the other reviews.
What a shame, because yes, Nederzandt used to be much better.
The QR code concept, the limited customization options, and the relatively high prices are also a step backwards.
Nice food nice service nice ambiance
I have to say employee here looks not nice but they actually really passionate and nice.
I was quite surprised cuz i just choose a random restaurant to take a rest but it is too good that i went here two times in two days
We were allowed to choose our own table; it wasn't busy. After waiting 15 minutes to even be spoken to, while four people behind the bar were having a good time, we left. We did get a friendly goodbye... off to Hemels. We were helped right away there.
I eat there sometimes, the food is very good. It's a shame they don't offer delivery anymore, though. I used to order from them often.
Very convenient for work and one of the better ones in the area. They also have healthier options, and they're fast. They're still listed on Thuisbezorgd or on their website, but then you only get a takeaway option. Such a shame.
