We had a great party (we rented a room), but the service was terrible. You ordered a drink and got something completely different, like an apfelkorn with 7up, but instead of 7up, you got sparkling water because they wouldn't go upstairs to refill the drinks.

Toch kwam de barman dreigend achter me aan, waarna het personeel boven een volle emmer water over me heen gooide. Onbegrijpelijk en onacceptabel gedrag – zulke mensen horen niet in de horeca te werken.

The food was ridiculously expensive and took forever. The service was incredibly rude and completely incomprehensible. I was eating here with a group of friends, and they didn't understand a thing. Drink rounds also took at least half an hour. It was expensive and unsociable.

Never again. A small addition: the shop has had a different name, Venus, for over a year now, and very likely a different owner. It's a bit odd that they're still using the old name online. Terrible place, there are rats everywhere. Food service took 1.5 hours… A small edit: I was just reminded of this place recently when I saw a giant rat come out of the restaurant. I went there yesterday to watch football. I've been to many Irish pubs, but this was truly the worst. Unfriendly service, especially a woman with a black ponytail. I politely asked if I could order something after waiting 15 minutes. Then she bluntly said she wasn't there to take orders... People were waiting ages for their drinks and complaining furiously. Never again for me. Tip: Go across the street; the cafes are more charming and the service is friendlier.

Terrible service! There are ten of them standing in the kitchen corner staring at each other sheepishly, but serving customers is out of the question. Very disappointing, but not worth the effort.

You are right in the middle of the Brunssummerheide, with a great view of the heath. The goulash soup is delicious.
