Great service and tasty fries. Highly recommended.

On Thu 06-08-2026, we went to pick up 3 pizzas. At 21:30, we went inside; nobody wanted to help us. After waiting for a while, we asked if they were still open. The staff looked at us very strangely without a clear reaction. Like it or not, that is not how you do business. They clearly weren't in the mood.

Ordered, never got my food and couldn’t cancel my order.

The restaurant isn't even worth 1 star. Upon entering, everything smells like cigarettes, and the pokebowl rice is as dry as a cork and tastes like nothing; truly a terrible place.

We stopped here for lunch. The menu was a little limited, but the sandwich and cheese croquettes we ordered were tasty and we enjoyed them. A nice place for a quick and simple lunch.

Here is my two-part experience at this cafeteria Is this almost certainly the worst snack bar in Leeuwarden? I wanted to give this cafeteria a chance for more than 4 months after 2 very bad experiences. Email contact for a response with R from this establishment was not taken entirely seriously. My advice: Definitely do not have lunch here. The quality of the food is poor and very greasy. Even after a second visit, once you have already told them. This shouldn't be allowed. So, a solid 1 star. Go ahead and do another comparison, and I’ll be happy to let you know.

Sushi was really well made and tasty also very friendly customer service we didn’t miss anything from our order and even got extra sauces, there is this young blond guy working there very friendly and good customer service

4.95 euros for a cappuccino. !! There was no price list, so you ordered and then paid. 9.90 euros. I really thought "a mistake". Seriously, what a ridiculous price. And a weak cup of coffee too.

I see quite a few negative reviews about China Express Noodle XL, but honestly, I don't relate to them at all. I and several people I know order here regularly and actually always have a good experience. The food arrives hot, delivery is often fast, and the food is simply delicious. I live a bit further away myself, and even for me, it usually arrives quickly. What I also like is the price. Nowadays, everything is expensive, and if I have to do the grocery shopping and cook myself, I sometimes end up spending even more. Compared to many other Chinese restaurants, I personally consider this one of the most affordable options in Groningen. So, for me, it is an ideal combination: tasty, hot, fast delivery, and affordable. Truly a top-notch restaurant.

In one pizza, the meat was stale, and in the other, the cheese had a strange taste. I won't be visiting this place again.
