Pendergast has been my favorite restaurant for years. I usually go there two or three times a year, and it's always a pleasure. The menu is always perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The combination of their sublime BBQ and extensive bourbon selection is truly outstanding. The staff, and especially the host, is friendly, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. You can taste the care and attention they put into everything here: from the slow-smoked meats to the freshly prepared side dishes and seasonal vegetables. If you enjoy no-nonsense, good BBQ food in a relaxed atmosphere, you should definitely visit this place. It will remain a permanent fixture on my restaurant list.
