De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

This afternoon, around 6:00 PM, I wanted to have a drink and a bite to eat at Resto Fred. The terrace was quite full, so I decided to take a seat inside. At that moment, I was the only guest inside. I sat there for over 20 minutes without a single employee speaking to me, making eye contact, or giving even a sign like: “Sorry, it’s busy, we’ll be with you shortly.” Absolutely nothing. I understand perfectly well that a terrace can get busy and that staff have to work hard. But making eye contact with a customer and letting them know you’ve seen them takes a few seconds. I really got the feeling that I was being completely ignored inside because they already had enough work outside. After more than 20 minutes, I eventually just left. Very disappointing and, as far as I’m concerned, truly worthless service. Busyness can happen, but completely ignoring a customer is not part of it.

Very friendly service and delicious food.

Kapsalon has soggy fries and vegetables. In addition, you taste all the flavors of the world: Madam Jeanette, curry, and lasagna.

Had a very tasty omelette from chef Leandro.

The outside seating initially attracted us to this bar where we had both food and drinks, both great. Our server was called Mike, we had such a nice service that we went to a few other bars but made sure to come back for a couple more drinks. He was so lovely, pointed me in the direction of the toilet before I even asked and he said 'whatever you do, wherever you go, don't forget to rock and roll' words I will live by for life I think

A friendly and cozy restaurant at the Blue Tree hotel, comfortable and with reasonable prices.

Terrible food and more than half an hour of waiting!!! Never again

Poor experience from what I already assumed would be a mid-level pizza. It's papa John's after all. The delivery took over and hour. They didn't have the right dessert available. I had to call twice to get a "maybe we hope it will be there in x minutes" which was incorrect both times. All items were cold. This is what I get for knowing better and still ordering.

SCAM! Closed months ago and the website is still in the air. So we ordered through their site and lost our money! DO NOT ORDER!!

The most authentic Thai cuisine in Amsterdam. A must have for me when in the city. The staff are very professional & friendly... even go through the trouble to make suggestions if you have difficulty choosing. A taste of Thailand along the Overtoom..

Honestly the absolute worst pizza ever, not in the oven long enough, poorly finished, and then 16 euros. Nice guys working there though.
