It's a shame this bakery went bankrupt because it was the best. "Bread factory" was a forbidden word there, but in reality, it was. I was fortunate enough to work there for 10 years as a weekend driver and substitute driver, much to their and my satisfaction. It also helped me build my nest egg for 10 years, which came in very handy a few years later when the banking crisis hit in 2008 and my business practically ground to a halt. The bankruptcy of Bartels Bakery is deeply saddening to me.

We order our cakes from Kaandorp Bakery. And every year, they create beautiful works of art. Everything is possible, they think along with you to find solutions—what sweethearts. Our compliments to Marcel and Anja, what fantastic pastry chefs.

Ordered a fried snack plateau via deliveroo, but it wasn’t crunchy at all and in some of them I could barely find any fish. Hopefully other dishes are better.

We had a really delicious meal here! The Burney Bek sandwich is especially recommended.

My order through Uber Eats didn't go exactly as I'd hoped. This was resolved promptly, and we had a delicious meal at the location in the east. I highly recommend eating here, and I'll definitely go back to the one on Rozengracht.

Lovely restaurant with sweet pastries, hot and cold drinks, and ice cream. Friendly staff. Prices on the high side. The men's and women's restrooms weren't very well maintained. The latter could be better.

Super nice cocktails, got them last minute and they are quite potent. Had a great time and they tasted super yummy and super sweet. Lady is also nice and packaged everything really well didnt have any issues carrying it on the bike + gave me extra cups and straws :))
