De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Patrick's does not sell fresh food. He is also not friendly towards customers regarding a solution should they be dissatisfied. Very disappointed in the service and the food at Patrick's.

Yesterday I got a small piece of filled speculaas and 2 coffee rolls.... €15.80 Quite pricey! Not a big deal if the taste is good... after all, we were out for the day. Unfortunately, the coffee rolls were dry and chewy... which is exactly what a coffee roll shouldn't be like. The filled speculaas really wasn't worth the money either.... very disappointing. I certainly won't recommend this bakery!

Best Starbucks ever, the atmosphere is great and the baristas make this place a wonderful location!

I've been coming here since I was a kid; this is the best shawarma I have ever eaten, but still, all the meat here is top-notch, freshly grilled, and a super nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

It was somewhat warm, and that was about it. Filthy and loveless.

The employees were so, so unfriendly... We had to assemble the burger ourselves because they just threw the ingredients in and walked away. The vending machine indicates that you want to eat in the restaurant, but they give me the food in a bag. I do not recommend it, or I recommend a review by McDonald's.

The Mc Chicago is the best McDonald's sandwich in the world that I've ever tasted. It beats all other countries.

Note: the food here is very tasty. I always recommend it to my friends.

Nice and popular place for a quick and nice tasty brunch/lunch. There are 2 close to each other so be mindful if you meet someone.

The chips were fried in the same oil, overall not the best experience...

I don't usually do restaurant reviews unless it's a very good or very bad experience, otherwise I'd be doing this all the time, so I usually focus on the hotels I visit.We were at Café Garçon at the end of August 2026, and it was undoubtedly the worst experience of the dozens of restaurants we visited during our month-long trip through Amsterdam, London, the Turkish Riviera, Istanbul, and Madrid. My wife wanted to eat French food near the Concertgebouw before a concert we were attending, so we took the opportunity to make a reservation there. The first surprise was paying 40 euros for the reservation, under penalty of losing it if we didn't show up for any reason—something I did for the first time in my life and which I deeply regret and will never do again. Secondly, the service was terrible. There were things on the menu that tempted us but were only available until a certain time. We sat down to eat shortly after that time, and they refused to serve them to us, perhaps justifiably, but with an absolute lack of customer service. The food was mediocre; our onion soups were mediocre, and my steak tartare ranged from average to mediocre. It tasted good, but the portion was small and lacked... Visually appealing. The fries were from a bag, and I think they gave me what was left at the bottom because they were so small and thin. I remembered those fabulous Steak cuts I used to sell in my restaurant. The bread they call a baguette, which costs 7 euros, was just a few slices of stale bread, nothing like a French baguette. They didn't even replace it when the food arrived. I have experience owning a restaurant for several years in Miami Beach, and I know exactly what I'm talking about.In short, I definitely don't recommend going there.

I wanted to drink a beer outside because it looked cozy there. But then the bouncer said I have to drink it inside where people are dancing because I was alone and the places outside are reserved for groups or something... but I allready have paid for the beer.

Very tasty food, only a pity that the main course was already served while we were still eating our starter.
