On the Nieuwmarkt, this crowded and bustling terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The menu features decent wines, is affordable, especially for this location, and the service is friendly but a bit chaotic.

My girlfriend and I wanted to enjoy a delicious cocktail in the evening and stumbled upon Cafe Cuba. Inside, it's a small, very authentic Latino bar with a great atmosphere. Spanish music plays in the background. The cocktail menu is impressive. The prices are fair – and honestly, you'd happily pay €11-€13 for a good cocktail, right? 😉 Food/snacks are available. We had the nachos with melted cheese. Highly recommended for a light snack. The staff is super friendly!! Definitely worth a visit ☺️

Thought the “I want to marry this burger” is just another marketing gimmick but it’s so true; best burger I had in my life!!!

The host was very generous, he went out of his way to service my friends and I in the evening and gave good food suggestions. Would highly recommend, the food was amazing

We were in Amsterdam for the first time, only 3 days, but we visited this place twice. First it was a hearty, incredibly delicious dinner, and then a life-saving breakfast. We walked to this establishment for an hour, many times we almost gave up, but the intention to experience this taste was stronger. I was impressed by the rich taste of real broth and a magical combination of spices. No artificial flavors of cheap seasonings. And the pork burger is just space: a small simple bun with a magical filling of tender meat! I already dream of experiencing this taste again! This is a simple establishment, do not expect pathos here or service that will blow your mind. Everything here is simple, everyday and very tasty. And if it seemed to someone that somehow the service was not wow ... then just think about how many DIFFERENT people are here every day. Workers also have feelings and character. Be simpler and kinder 🧡 P.S. If your iPhone is dead, you can charge it here, but for Android it's better to have a charger with you 👹

Cool café with plenty of seating. The food and coffee were delicious and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

We stopped for a break after walking around the city sight seeing. We only had a tea, so can't comment on the food. We enjoyed a quick rest whilst sitting on the seats outside, which are under cover, and watched the people and cyclists go by.

Good food but ordered dessert at about 10pm and they came back and told us they couldn’t do it as the chef had gone home and we had to leave as they were shutting up. All a bit weird on a Friday night in a capital city.

An absolutely incredible experience at Mamamakan! Ultra-attentive service, exceptionally kind staff, and simply outstanding cuisine. Intense, refined Indonesian flavors and top-quality ingredients. A true gem, not to be missed in Amsterdam!
