De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

My experience in here couldnt have been better. So relaxing view, multifarious biers, and delicious special bread. Also i enjoyed having through Ij and watching ferries that bording the deck next to here. :)

We found Bar Piazza completely by chance after visiting the Stedelijk Museum, and it ended up being one of those lovely little discoveries that make a day in Amsterdam even better. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the pizza was perfectly crispy and full of flavour, and the tiramisu was honestly amazing. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily come back.

Wonderful, traditional restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and they even had a vegetarian rijsttafel!

Unfortunately, the roasted duck breast was a major disappointment. The meat was bone dry, fully cooked, and sliced ​​wafer-thin. There was virtually no skin or fat on it, leaving the duck lacking in juiciness and quite tough. Additionally, I found the portion very meager for the price you pay. For a dish listed as roasted duck breast on the menu, I had expected better quality and a more generous portion. A real shame!

Very good burger. And I was dining with a hard to please friend who said it was very good. Well seasoned patties, thin smashed excellent. Loved the sauce: highly recommended. Plus if you get the window table they have a beet tap on the middle of the table. Loved love loved it.

Used to be such a nice place with delicious margaritas. Some bald guy (I believe he was the owner or manager) kicked us out just because we asked for a table for 4. Being condescending about our knowledge of the covid regulations. Even the waitress was like "what are you doing". No wonder it's was the only empty place on the Nieuwmarkt yesterday. Drank a nice margarita at the Cuba instead with excellent service.

We had a wonderful dinner here yesterday with our team. We had a group menu and drinks package, and we wanted for nothing all evening. The service was super friendly and very accommodating. The burrata salad was delicious, and so was the sea bass. Beautiful restaurant!

Most inadequate service I’ve ever experienced! We had a reservation for three people and initially only 2 chairs were available. Not only that but we had to wait for 15min for the second chair to be given to us. The waiter couldn’t get our order correct not even once - first I received the wrong wine, then my friend never received hers. We kept reminding him and asking for service, and eventually gave up and went to the bar ourselves. Next round, same story. When we tried to get the bill, we asked more than three times and waited for over half an hour, until eventually, again, we went to pay at the bar.

Maris Piper is a gem in the heart of De Pijp, offering refined dishes with a perfect balance of sweetness and bold flavors. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington, a true delicacy and a treat fit for royalty. The sides are incredible, especially the glazed carrots cooked in carrot juice, an unexpected delight with flavors that surprise in the best way. One of the most honest quality price experiences in Amsterdam, considering the top quality ingredients they use. Don’t forget to pre-order the Wellington!
