The products are pretty good, and the atmosphere is too. Only the service is sometimes better than others. This time, there was a Latina woman behind the counter who, despite the crowd and the line, took everything at her own pace. She clearly wasn't in fifth gear and didn't walk any faster. Sometimes people want to catch a train...
Excellent shisha and bar. Their shisha is available in a small but good place for those who want to smoke shisha; it costs 30 euros… The downside is that smoking hashish is allowed inside.
Unfortunately, December takeout has deteriorated. It's no longer worth the detour. The containers are small and less full. The pork had a strange (musty) aftertaste that almost made you question its freshness. The sushi was the best of the whole set.
It was really delicious, don't hesitate! Good meat, potatoes, and a salad with vinaigrette. If you're reading this review and you come, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and they serve you in four languages.
We were looking for a place to smoke shisha – it’s quite hard to find a decent spot in Amsterdam, so we decided to give this one a try. The hookah looked good and modern, definitely not cheap Egyptian plastic.
The Al Fakher tobacco isn’t great – they could try better brands like Dark Side or Fumari – but I won’t blame them, as I knew before coming that they only use Al Fakher. The shisha itself was quite good.
The place is very smoky – it seems like there’s no proper ventilation, or it’s not working well. If you’re not used to sitting in such smoky environments, it might be uncomfortable. The restroom was quite clean. We didn’t order food, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, there aren’t many options for shisha in Amsterdam, so this place wasn’t bad.
Super fun place. Nicely outside the city, yet still close by. We had a delicious piece of cake and a great toasted sandwich, and then we had energy to continue walking.
This cafe seems to be a victim of its own good location in a bustling, multicultural city. If Dutch is not your first language avoid coming here, as the bartender was hostile and antagonistic. Life is only as miserable as you make it, and it appears that man is living in his own personal hell.
