This restaurant is located on a corner of an Amsterdam School-style building on a square with beautiful trees. As if that weren't enough (I can't imagine it was), it is also a very nice restaurant with welcoming service and delicious food. The various pastas, in particular, are highly recommended. The downside, however, is that I actually came to see what spaghetti carbonara looked like in practice so I could make it better, and I have since thrown in the towel. So I will have to go back.

Cornelis Schuytstraat 17, Noord-HollandOverpriced. At those prices, one simply imagines a bit more imagination and a higher quality of meals. Don’t get me wrong, the food is not bad. Just underwhelming. The restaurant is trying to appear premium without actually being premium.

Willem van Weldammelaan 43, Noord-HollandUnfortunately, the roasted duck breast was a major disappointment. The meat was bone dry, fully cooked, and sliced wafer-thin. There was virtually no skin or fat on it, leaving the duck lacking in juiciness and quite tough. Additionally, I found the portion very meager for the price you pay. For a dish listed as roasted duck breast on the menu, I had expected better quality and a more generous portion. A real shame!

Kloveniersburgwal 127, Noord-HollandA proper Amsterdam city café next to the picturesque Aluminium Bridge. Easy-going atmosphere away from the crowds. They have pretty much everything you may need.. good coffee, well-chilled Heineken, tasty desserts and some very nice food. A lovely place to sit, relax and simply enjoy Amsterdam.

Weesperzijde 144, Noord-HollandWalked in for a drink. The staff seemed disinterested. The music coming from the kitchen was different from what's playing in the restaurant, so you could hear it all mixed up. Not a pleasant atmosphere. Such a shame, it used to be a nice place.
