According to the waitress, we were sitting in the wrong spot; they make a distinction here between the terrace in front of the restaurant and the snack bar. But we look for a spot to sit out of the wind. And there wasn't a soul on the terrace. We had to take the coffee with us too, because they don't deliver to the snack bar section. How difficult can you make things? A couple who came after us had to move.
Great food and a great atmosphere! The service is good and you will definitely leave here with a full stomach. You get value for money here, and that is something you don't often come across these days! 💪
Beautiful location and lovely terrace by the Maas. We took a seat on the terrace on Friday, September 25th. It was busy, but our order was taken quite quickly. We ordered a cappuccino and a cola. Nothing special, really. After 15 minutes, we still hadn't received anything. We asked the waiter again if the order had gone through correctly, because we saw that people who arrived after us had received theirs. "Yes," said the waiter, "but do you know how busy it is? It's completely full inside too." OK, let's just wait a little longer then. Another 8 minutes passed and still nothing. Then we left. If it's too busy for you, you'd be better off making the terrace a bit smaller or hiring more staff...
I waited 15 minutes for a Coca-Cola, 30 minutes for a coffee, and 45 minutes for a pizza, the last time! I don't recommend it! The service was lost. The waiter, disregarding the customer's needs, walked past us several times. I often go to restaurants in the Netherlands, but this is the first time I've encountered such terrible service. The restaurant is terrible. Please change something, it looks like a bar in the USSR. On a scale of 1 to 10, the coffee is a 2. 1 point for being warm, and 2 for finally being served. One woman works in a circle with five others, standing in a circle, looking at her. There are flies everywhere, landing on me and my food. The USSR invented flypaper. Don't they have such innovations in the Netherlands? And this is the answer: if you behave badly, you will be treated similarly... I didn't behave badly; I was polite, nice, and friendly. I only asked once if we could get that coffee, because I wanted to at least have a cup of coffee while waiting for a dry, tasteless pizza. The Eastern Bloc really does cook better than you; you can't base an entire kitchen on one sauce. I've been to Italian restaurants in the Netherlands, and they had pizza, not that dry, paper-thin pizza with too much chicken like yours. You won't get a good review just because you're supposed to be nice and friendly. If you want to serve people food, do it well or not at all! I've given five stars to many restaurants I've visited in this country. I will never recommend your restaurant to anyone!
The food was really not good. Kimchi fried rice with barely any chicken pieces in it, very little kimchi, and fried chicken pieces cooked in old oil. The Blue Butterfly Peach Ice Tea was sickly sweet. A real shame, I won't be coming back here. The photo shows that the chicken piece is really brown and black from the old oil in which it was fried.
