Place your order and pay for it, then my order is called, a drunk guest comes and immediately demands it, after which I immediately say, dude, that's my order. I have to tell my order again and am told it's coming. After waiting almost fifteen minutes I ask about the status of my order, and I am treated like some kind of scammer. Final score paid for sauce and no food.... I have a PIN transaction and actually expect a solution.
Na 5 jaar weer eens gegeten bij De Beren in Groningen. We kozen voor het drie-gangen-menu. Mijn voorgerecht waren de ribfingers. Dit was een prima portie met heerlijk vlees wat bijna van het bot viel. Mijn hoofdgerecht was de zalm, een mooi groot stuk die goed van smaak was. De bijbehorende frites was dik in orde. Mijn nagerecht was de crème brulee, een lekkere afsluiter. We hebben heerlijk gegeten, in een fijne ambiance, met een prettige bediening en de prijs-kwaliteit was prima.
If you go for the food, this is highly recommended. I've been there several times and the taste of the food remains the same. The balance is good, but the service isn't always great, depending on who you get.
Went for a quick bite to eat last night. It certainly wasn't busy because it was already evening. The people at the table behind us had to ask to order. They ordered a Coke Zero and after some time a Pepsi Max was brought. The lady said she ordered a "Zero" and she doesn't like Pepsi. She was only answered that this is stated on the card. This is not stated on the menu with dishes or with Patisserie. The staff was anything but friendly and gave a bored impression. We waited for some time to be able to order but then left. If someone does not do his or her job wholeheartedly, you do not show this to customers, or you look for another job.
I ordered online, and the order arrived two hours later. Despite being a regular customer, the product I received was completely different. When I called the business, they said everything was correct, but it absolutely wasn't. It was as if it had been made and shipped from somewhere else. I had a terrible experience. They used the classic Turkish mentality: "Whatever we give the customer will be accepted." All I can say is, shame on them.
Wat een gezellig restaurant. Het dakterras is leuk op een mooie avond. Helaas is er weinig avondzon door een hoog gebouw ervoor. De service is amicaal en goed. Het eten is prima. Ik heb lekkere gamba's vooraf gegeten en een salade biefstukpuntjes als hoofdgerecht. Ook nog een erg lekker nagerecht. Chocoladecake met ijs en slagroom.
They were very polite when we first arrived, but once we spoke Chinese, they started to avoid serving us. Their service was terrible. Other Indonesians who spoke English were treated well, with tea being poured and chopsticks being offered. Yet, we, who speak Chinese, were discriminated against like this. They even demanded a tip! Shameless! The food was awful! They didn't give a tip and deliberately bumped into my friend!
Leuke tent en het eten was ook best lekker, maar geen hoogvlieger. De Saté Royal en Gevulde Paprika konden mij en mijn vriendin best aardig bekoren, maar het is niet iets waar je lang over napraat.
A fantastic restaurant, with very friendly and attentive staff. They truly put their customers first. They take time for you, and the food is truly excellent.
We had a wonderful, enjoyable evening. One minor criticism: it took a little getting used to ordering, and it was a bit tricky to find vegetarian dishes. But this was also perfectly resolved. Unlike other restaurants, there was a huge selection of vegetarian options.
