De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Not up to the level I expected but still a nice place with good service. We had the 4 course menu - salmon sashimi, eggplant soup, venison and the desert. The sashimi lacked acidity, the beet marinade made it lose the salmon taste and it was a bit blend. The soup tasted good and can be excellent with some smoke. Venison was soft and tasty however there was too much sweetness on the plate, I would go for some umami flavor next to it. The sides were just fine. The desert was just too sweet for my taste, only had the honeycomb. Service was great. Overall OK experience.

The food looked delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. And thankfully, the seats were more comfortable than those wooden chairs. Very tasty, thank you!

Edit 2022: Great pizza. I have tried most pizzerias in Amsterdam, including those trendy places like De Pizzabakkers (gross). But Pomorosso on the Amstelveense Weg and this restaurant (5 JUNIOR Spuistraat) really have by far the best pizzas in Amsterdam.

Great food and very hospitable, friendly service

A lovely and cozy café in a beautiful location. I've been here many times and will definitely return. The staff is friendly and polite, and of course, the food and drinks are delicious.

Absolutely smashed it! We had intimate celebration at private dining area..and it was perfect! Shout out to Muriel who was very patient with million of my emails, and created a very special atmosphere for us and to Tom who made sure that everyone has a beverage at all times! Genuinely can't recommend this place more...and the food was absolutely gorgeous! Thank you once again!!!

We had a delicious meal and drinks here with the bachelor party, everything was well organized for us. Highly recommended!!!
