We enjoy so much the food and the esthetic of the restaurant. The vibes is really good and the waiter Michael is very friendly.

Attempted to visit at 7:30pm on Sunday, but unfortunately we were met with an extremely rude and dismissive attitude from the host, who tutted and waved her hands at us. Given that the restaurant wasn’t due to close until 8pm, it was unclear why we were refused service. While I appreciate they may have stopped seating customers, this certainly doesn’t excuse the way we were treated. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Because my previous review was removed by Google, here is my review from early May 2026: Picked up food here yesterday; the lamb and chicken masala were very bland in taste. The bitter melon sandwich with dried fish had hardly any dried fish in it. Telo with trie... It was heavy and heavily excessively spicy; as a result, I have massive stomach problems afterwards, and sorry to say it like this, but my entire anus is swollen because of it. At the very least, a warning should be given that there is so much pepper in it. Not everyone can tolerate spicy food, and for example, at the doks, it was indicated that it is spicy... This is very disappointing, and I am now in quite a bit of pain. This shouldn't be allowed. Update: We had filed a complaint by email and were allowed to pick up 2 free meals. We went by today, May 13th, and the gentleman was being very difficult about the fact that apparently someone had promised us 2 meals without his knowledge. The gentleman blamed it solely on the telo trie, while we had complaints about multiple dishes. The dishes were supposedly not proportionate to our compensation. Dear people, first of all, it was promised to us in writing; we cannot do anything about the fact that you, as a company, are not on the same page. Ultimately, we felt unheard. This was our last visit here.

It looks unassuming from the outside. We wanted to grab some dinner that evening and were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was of excellent quality, and the unique dining experience was fantastic. I highly recommend including it in your Amsterdam itinerary. It's best to book in advance.

Very nice and very traditionnal chinese hot pot！！

The pizzas are nice and thin and tasted good. The truffle cream was a bit artificial, but you could definitely taste some truffle aroma. Ask for the pepper oil to drizzle on your pizza. If you order a bottle of wine, my tip is to ask if you can taste it first. The tiramisu was a delicious way to finish. The staff were friendly but could respond faster. Nice decor, especially the mirrors on the wall.

A true “hidden gem” of Amsterdam. A special place, tucked away in an alley in one of Amsterdam’s most touristy streets, and that is precisely what makes this restaurant so special. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you immediately find yourself in an intimate setting, with idyllic views of the canals. The hustle and chaos of the Warmoestraat are instantly exchanged for a living room atmosphere with a Burgundian vibe. Here, there are no hip, trend-sensitive drinks and dishes, but fine, traditional French cuisine—no fuss. A restaurant where the owner comes to sit at the table at the end of the evening, a restaurant where things can still be nice and relaxed, and which exudes genuine old-fashioned Amsterdam coziness in everything. For us, De Componon was a discovery and a relief that such lovely spots still fortunately exist in Amsterdam. Every time, our dinner here ends with delicious drinks, pleasant conversation, and a much-too-full stomach.

I was determined to visit Reggae Rita's on our trip to Amsterdam from the UK - I was not disappointed! The food was top quality. I had the curry goat meal and my partner had the brown stew chicken meal - authentic jamaican cooking at its finest. Rita and her son are just lovely people. The whole experience was fantastic. The cocktails at the Labyrinth bar were delicious too! Great atmosphere, reminds me of a jazz club. Highly recommend that if you are in Amsterdam you visit. Hidden gem! Thank you.

Delicious vegan food, a good selection of beer and a cozy atmosphere, I can highly recommend it.
