De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Ordered a rijsttafel. There was a minor miscommunication via email, but everything was resolved smoothly. The food is authentic homestyle Indonesian; my guests and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Horrible bartender last night. You don't yell at guests/customers when they accidentally put their hat on. And if you, as a guest/customer, try to explain it, you get yelled at even more. Horrible person. I'm a bartender myself, and that's no way to treat guests/customers. If you can't handle the hospitality industry anymore, quit.

FRIETSTEEG detracts from the atmosphere on the terrace.

It is family-run. Always a plus. The price is good, please keep it that way! Good luck

I never write reviews, but I'm making an exception here. A typical Amsterdam lunch spot that I really enjoy visiting. The hostess at the lunchroom has been doing the job for years. Hospitality in a non-yuppie way that people remember even after a year. She is incredibly involved with the neighborhood and the people who live there. A clear, no-nonsense menu, and quality. If you want to have a relaxed lunch or a drink without feeling like you're sitting at someone else's table or paying 35 euros for an omelet, this is the place. When in doubt, just go for it. Grab a coffee and have a chat.

Was the best pizza I ate in Amsterdam, even compared to the original ones I ate in Italy. So fresh and so fast, arrived 15 minutes after we placed the order and actually was in shock how good it is. Will be our go to pizza place forever! Big reccomend for Amsterdam. Thank you for your service 🙏🏼

Someone came in pretending to be a customer and sat next to us while eating to ask something on a paper maps. He stole my phone inside the restaurant. This happened in September 2025. The waiters (2 guys) just told us not to call the police because they don’t do anything about it and the place doesn’t even have security cameras. The funny thing is the thief initially spoke to the waiter as soon as he entered the place then approached us, what a coincidence? I have never ever felt that unsafe INSIDE a restaurant in The NL and never had such an experience before. A restaurant that cannot even ensure safety inside for its customers. Eventually, police report made and 100€ bill paid for this amazing experience 😂.

Wonderful meal. All 4 of us really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and prompt. In addition, this was a 4 minute walk from our hotel. What a great find!

Cozy place and the food has the traditional poké taste. Had a card problem and the lady that was attending me was super understandable until I could fix it. Ordered the original.

Excellent Pan Asian fusion restaurant. Great selection of food, tasting menus, and wine. But the sake selection is limited and disappointing

Coffee is great but if I can make a recommendation, do not offer the tip fee after paying for coffee. The least amount on the payment is 20%, 25% and 30% even in America I don’t see this at a coffee shop.
