De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

As an Italian, I can say that it's a good pizza... Perfectly cooked and lots of mozzarella, the location is convenient because it's behind the Holiday Inn hotel and there are tables to eat on site.

Celebrated my birthday here with a game of karaoke. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Recommended for anyone looking for a fun evening!

Amazing menu and everything is made with fresh ingredients. Jip who started working there recently was very helpful with choosing a nice salad. The salad was delicious and filling. It’s great that they have a lot of plantbased options.

A lovely little café in Amsterdam's botanical garden. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food and drinks, as we didn't even get around to trying them. We came here after our tour of the garden to cool off a bit on a relatively warm day. After being ignored for 10 minutes, we finally received the menu. However, our wait wasn't over yet. We waited another 25 minutes, during which the waitress looked at us several times, I waved to her repeatedly, and even went to the counter, but we continued to be ignored until, after a total of 40 minutes, we left the café without having ordered anything to eat or drink. The ambiance in the café is quite nice, but the service is not recommended. If you're going to the botanical garden (which is truly beautiful), you should bring your own drinks and then eat at a restaurant; this café wasn't worth the visit for us. :(

Stumbled into this spot since it was right next to my hotel, and I am so glad I did. It has a great, cool atmosphere and the bartenders are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth dropping by for a drink!

Very tasty, nice, sweet people. Good service and very cozy.

The mochi donut was very good but the toast with the steak inside was not too impressive. The matcha had a good taste and the strawberry matcha had a fresh strawberry flavor that didn’t taste artificial. Overall a little bit expensive.

Nice cozy place. There was a slight miscommunication and staff handled it very satisfactory. Recommended. Will definitely visit again when in the neighbourhood.

The sundubu-jjigae is great, very well seasoned! The jajangmyeon is also good, does not contain meat, so perfect if you are a vegetarian.

Could really use a makeover. The place is doing well, but still has the same 90s interior; hygiene also leaves much to be desired, both in the restaurant and among the staff.

They are complete scammers. I asked to replace chicken with shrimps in a Ceaser salad and i had to pay 18 EUR for 3 shrimps!!!! OUTRAGEOUS! I asked for bread for a soup, they charged me 15 EUR for 2 small slices. When you tell them they are robbers with empty tables, they mock you, say you have to pay and this is Amsterdam so you are not very smart in their view as you should know this is an expensive area. I will make a complaint to the authorities as well, please don’t visit this place! It’s a joke and the worst robbery! This never happened to me in my 6y living in NL.

We stopped by Las Estrellas - Pizza, Pasta and Grill and had a wonderful dining experience! ​We ordered two classic pasta dishes: Pasta Bolognese and Pasta Carbonara. Both were absolutely delicious! The Bolognese had a rich, savory meat sauce that was packed with authentic flavor, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The Carbonara was brilliantly creamy, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying without feeling overly heavy. ​The portion sizes were generous, and the dishes came out piping hot. Beyond the great food, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy comfort food. ​If you're looking for quality Italian dishes and great hospitality, Las Estrellas is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be coming back!
