The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic! Only the promised two free drinks upon arrival (we had to wait a bit for a table due to the crowd) were added to the bill. That was a bit of a disappointment... Update: We returned, and as promised, everything was completely made up for, and the experience was perfect again! HIGHLY recommended if you want good food and excellent service at your table. Definitely worth 10 stars.
Uncooked pancakes rolled up, embarrassing for Dutch people. Don’t even have Dutch Stroop. If you want a pancake go somewhere else. If you don’t care you are at right spot
Updated: Sorry but reviews are put in place to give a true reflection of food and service offered. This review is unsponsored, so a true reflection, would be good if you try to take feedback on and improve the service. You charge 1.75 Euro for a squirt of cheap maple syrup. Easy to offer some more local syrup as well. Pancakes should not be doughy, need a little bit more time and care.
This a photo of a nearby competitor, who made my visit to the Netherlands feel more like home.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. I tried their grilled food and the word "good" doesn't do it justice, along with a great appetizer. 👌👌👌 It's amazing, you have to try it. Thank you to the supervisors.
Apparently this place no longer exists. Such a shame, because we were really looking forward to eating here and walked a long way in the cold to get there.
It was truly an experience; you have to experience it once! We were warmly welcomed and immediately helped by our server, Eva. Everything was perfectly explained. We opted for the 5-course dinner. The food was delicious. But the real experience was the music. It started off nice and quiet and ended like a party. At times, it reminded me of OGENE, but all the ladies still sang like stars in their own unique way. And next time, the host/bartender will also sing a song, ha-ha. We'll definitely be back!
A very cozy place with an amazing staff the food is amazing and this is our second time back here on this three day trip! Really recommend this Thai restaurant ❤️
Food is good, ambience and experience feels tacky.
I want to start by praising the kitchen on having fresh ingredients and everything we ordered being quite tasty and well made.
The staff was pushy, and they were a bit rushing us to order and stuff. It felt like they had enough social interactions and fed up. They spoke very direct and had no temper. They didn’t necessarily act angry but they didn’t show any sign of patience or sympathy I would say.
Menu and ordering was a frustrating experience. When we came we got:
-1 drinks menu
-1 sheet of laminated a4 paper showing some low resolution sushi photos?
-1 form to fill your order (with numbers and names)
-a menu per person made from something that feels like a pvc sheet which has had a very rough life.
The wallpaper and interior design felt tacky and some sauce serving options were questionable (like getting a bottle of sauce with chicken sticks). I am not really fond of fake tealights and i feel like a restaurant of this caliper can do better. The Frames placed around have low quality prints inside. But we can call these sections a matter of taste. I wish it could be a bit more original instead of giving 2014 pinterest.
Portion size and price are ok, but in general if you wanna leave full, you should expect to pay around 40-50 per person.
