De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

The food was great! Freshly made and not too much - just the perfect amount. The staff can speak english and is very friendly. Seating for bigger groups could be a bit problematic but it wasn’t that big of a deal. I recommend and will come back!

Really tasty, and quick service

I don't give a star at all! Two weeks ago we reserved a table for 2 people for 7 p.m. We expected a nice, pleasant evening with delicious food. Received a reminder for the reservation on the evening itself. When we got there it was closed. What a downer and our whole evening was ruined!!!! Not even an email or a message at the door of the restaurant. Everything was dark but tables were set. I think they are bankrupt and closed forever. So people no longer reserve and don't book. You won't even receive a normal response. A day later I received an email about how we had enjoyed the evening. What a joke...A very angry and disappointed customer!! :(

The Dutch coffee was great. And the spinach and egg pancakes were delicious.

We were there on Saturday 9/26/26 and sat at the bar and met Paul our bartender extraordinaire! Yummy Bloody Mary but mostly it was our conversation and enjoyed his friendliness and input about all things Amsterdam! Our only day there and he shared a lot of ideas but also was interested in us too! Great guy, great service, and enjoyable time at HRC! My husband collects HR shirts from all over the world so a shirt and a hat was next! Thank you to Paul!!

Absolutely delicious! I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews, but this restaurant is definitely worth the trip! Great location, fantastic atmosphere, and excellent food! I highly recommend it for a change from your usual fare. Try the Massaman Nua Beef!

This is a great South Indian food option in Amsterdam giving you the feeling of Chennai for anyone wanting to have idli, dosa etc. The breakfast combo we had was very good and the filter coffee was great too

Not the best service this evening… not one team member looked happy to be working. Service was slow and incredibly unfriendly. I got up for a less than 20 seconds and the server cleared my tray and binned my food and personal item! Not great at all!! Replaced the binned fries with cold ones which was not enjoyable to eat and couldn’t stomach it. Safe to say, I won’t be returning on my next trip.

They're not allowed to serve tap water?!? And the coffee is totally mediocre, a cappuccino is more like sweetened milk. It's an ok place if you need to sit.

Very special taste and experience, love most of the dish but few of them were a bit too slaty for us. Interior design is great but the tables and paths ways in between were a bit tight. Overall a great restaurant, I do recommend
