Pretty okay. Could really be better.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review (13-08-2026). Lunch 10-08-2026; Total 4 stars; Food 5 stars. Service 5 stars. Atmosphere 5 stars. We had a delicious lunch at Restaurant De Kloosterhoeve. Friendly staff and a very friendly chef/owner with whom we had a nice conversation. Reserved for dinner today, 13-08-2026. Anyway, the terrace was packed as well. Dinner; Total 3 stars. Food 2 stars. Service 3 stars. Atmosphere 5 stars. Dinner reception was fine. We skipped an appetizer. The meat from the mixed grills was super dry, probably pre-cooked. Advice: don't do that again and ask the guest how they want their meat cooked. Communication during service was not very smooth and a few mistakes were made. The majority of the staff are foreign, which shouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately, things didn't go entirely smoothly. All in all, it is a shame; while lunch was so fantastic, dinner is somewhat disappointing. Hopefully, this will be addressed in the future!

The best in Amersfoort! Also try the game croquette. And a free croquette on your birthday, too. It is wonderful to see how this establishment has been positively contributing to society for years. From local artists for the interior to a harvest festival for the little ones at the petting zoo where you can see your own homegrown potato being turned into fries.

I unfortunately did not get their names but I went to get a coffee at 9 am and they were the kindest staff I’ve met! I also got extra caramel and she did ALOT, I love it! All I know is one girl had a name tag “ dream “

The best shawarma dish in Amstelveen, try the Augustinus dish. Top!

Tasty pancakes, well-filled. Very (child)friendly staff. Super sweet that they were allowed to decorate their own dessert in the kitchen.

Delicious sandwich for lunch, a bit pricey but it really is.

Terrible, I ordered on thuisbezorgd and asked to deliver as soon as possible. The estimation was 40-55 min before I paid (delivery address is 10 min walk from the store) and after payment it jumped to 1,5 hours. I called to check status after 50 min and was told they were busy but my food was already out for delivery and should arrive in 15-20 min. I called 25 min later again and was told that they made a mistake and the food was still in store, so 1,5 hours later, I had nothing and still needed to wait for the next available delivery person to come back to the store first before my food could be sent out. The lady picking up the phone went on with an “I don’t care” attitude saying “it’s not my fault” before I could say anything. It’s my fault choosing this restaurant in the first place, please avoid making the same mistake as I did.

The food was fine, the smoothie excellent, and the service with a smile. It's just the atmosphere; it is Kanaleneiland, after all. Although the restaurant is situated very nicely amidst greenery.

This was so bad... impressive that you can fry chips so badly. Filthy place. The staff were also fighting amongst themselves and shouting at each other!

We had a super delicious meal, highly recommended.

Average compared to other domino’s

Worked for Domino's in the US and had to try some while in the Netherlands. Everything tasted 1000% better! Can't even compare. The heat wings and the Belgian milkshake were also a 5/5☆.

Nice location for families with (small) children. They can play wonderfully there. As a result, it is very noisy, so consider whether you want that if you are dining without children. The food is fine but nothing special.
