I tried this place myself, and honestly, the food looked amazing and tasted just as good. Everything was nicely presented, fresh, and full of flavour.
I definitely recommend others to try it perfect if you’re craving good sushi or a nice bento at a reasonable price.
The guy behind the counter found spiting in food when I visited during Sail Amsterdam. They need to change their receptionist and the other guy in the front. Would recommend not to go at all.
Good value for money. Their signature buritto is very tasty and juicy but quite spicy. I didn't mind that be could but an unpleasant surprise for some. (Maybe add a little chili icon next to the dish)
I've never really had any complaints until the last few months. Either half-full containers or very soggy fries. A real shame, considering you have to pay a considerable amount.
We enjoyed a wonderful five-course meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the wine and aperitif complemented the dishes perfectly. The restaurant's atmosphere is sophisticated, quiet, and elegant – just right for a romantic and cozy evening. We felt completely at ease and would gladly return. Thank you for a lovely evening!
At 5:00 PM, we received an email confirming that our online order had been received. The pickup time was set for 5:50 PM. We then received another email stating that the pickup time had been moved to 6:30 PM. It was a bummer, but it happens.
After reporting to the counter at 6:30 PM, we asked at 6:45 PM how long it would take.
Their response was that our kitchen would be starting soon and we should be understanding. At 7:10 PM, we received our order, and no apology was offered. This was the first, but definitely the last, time I've ordered from here.
During our stay at the hotel, we dined at this bistro, having made a reservation through the hotel reception. We received a friendly welcome and received very prompt service. We chose the three-course menu (which you won't find until the end of the menu). The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, so excellent value for money. Highly recommended during your stay at Van der Valk Eindhoven.
Ate here last night. What a misery. We took a seat inside. Received the menu card. We were not asked if we wanted something to drink. Have to call the server himself. There were no other guests present, we were the only ones. Order was taken and we asked if we could sit outside because of the heat inside. That was no problem. After a long time the food came. 2 pizzas and a salad. Tuna salad, no inspiration at all, way too expensive for what it was. Pizza 28b without onions was a calzone with chicken, which was not fully cooked, mushrooms that were still raw. Inside the calzone there was also a boiled egg!!!
Another pizza was one with kebab. Little taste. Went here once years ago and it wasn't a success then either. The bill was €40.50. When paying, it was said that we had eaten quickly, to which I indicated that it was terrible. Then we went around the corner to the chip shop. It was busy there.
I went yesterday and was helped by two very friendly and helpful ladies.
The employee took all the time to beautifully wrap a box.
The store is also well-maintained and the products are of good quality.
