Very bad food. Wings are too spicy. Too little salt on the fries. Only bad. We gave it another chance after about a year but unfortunately we were disappointed again

On July 29th, I placed a €50 order with New York Pizza. The order was riddled with complaints. After several emails and weeks of waiting, I received nothing but empty promises ("we'll forward it to the franchisee" and "we'll follow up"), but no solution or refund whatsoever. Ultimately, they only offered one free pizza, which is completely disproportionate to the bad experience. To this day, I still haven't received a refund. Poor service, no serious complaint handling. I'll never use New York Pizza again.

Review update 2025 The prices have gone up considerably; a side order of fries is €7.50. The delivery times have also increased enormously; I haven't experienced delivery earlier than 2.5 hours after ordering in months. 2022 I think this is a great delivery restaurant. The food always arrives nice and hot and delicious. If they're running a little late due to busy times, they call politely, and they're certainly not expensive.

The staff is friendly, and the food tastes good. It's just a shame that the food is cold when it's delivered. The price-quality ratio isn't right.

I find the price/quality ratio at this location to be extremely skewed. Here in Volendam, you're mainly paying for the brand name printed on the box. The pizzas are very sparsely topped, and the gluten-free pizza was bone dry. A waste of our money. It's best to stay away. No more Volendam pizzas for us. (They only like flippers with sugar there, anyway.) We can still get a cup of kibbeling (fried fish and chips) at the Jonk delicatessen, but that's all they have at De Dijk. We're happy to drive to Oosthuizen or Edam for something tasty. That fishing village is destitute. We don't know any good food anywhere.

Outdoor billboard with running buffet. No running buffet. Some iron containers are placed on the table and when they are finished, that's it. When I got home I hung over the toilet several times. Absolutely recommended to eat there. 🤮🤮🤮

Bad service, had to wait a very long time for our food and meat was defrosted from the microwave. Too bad, I'm used to more from the Bears. We eventually got our money back and ate elsewhere.

We were there in strong winds and rain. We sheltered and drank. The atmosphere was great. Ibiza vibes thanks to the lovely interior, cocktails 🍸, and music.

The food there is very delicious. The seating is nice, and we received good service. The lunch selection was a bit limited, but otherwise everything was great. We will definitely go there again. 👍🥰

Despite poorly maintained restaurant and waiting area, takeaway food was primary

Waiting time sucks and when you call you get a standard chat without actually checking your delivery time. Delivery person can't find the address, calls me. And says I'm there, to which I indicate that he is not in my street and therefore not there. YES I AM IN YOUR STREET. Okay then. Too bad because the food is always good, but communicating with your customers like this is of course hopeless.
