My girlfriend and I ate here after ADE. The food was really good! Great service, and the staff were very accommodating to food allergies. It had a lovely atmosphere too; we'll definitely be back!
I waited in line for 40 minutes. During that time, an employee came outside three times, eventually even placing a pole behind my car, which literally stuck me in the middle of nowhere. Once I got to the intercom, after all that waiting, I was simply turned away, claiming the system had already been disconnected.
Completely unacceptable. No explanation, no warning, and no effort to resolve the issue. Making customers wait so long and then dismissing them without mercy is disrespectful and downright poor customer service.
Certainly not the service you should expect. Absolutely not recommended.
We wanted to have a nice dinner together (the atmosphere seemed okay), but we had to wait 20 minutes for help and then another 30-35 minutes for our drinks. We finally received our food after another 15 minutes. Our steak (medium rare) turned out to be tough, and the salad contained two visible earwigs (and who knows, maybe even more). We immediately got up and paid. Definitely not recommended.
Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very bad. The staff were not friendly at all. Instead of helping me and taking my order, they chatted among themselves while I waited. I ended up leaving without ordering.
This is truly unacceptable service.
The churros were soaked in oil and undercooked.
They were €1 each and less than 10 cm long, so extremely expensive for (no offense) the worst churros I've ever had. Undercooked crepes for €6.
Don't order here when it's busy. Apparently employees can't handle the crowds. After first taking the wrong pizza home and mediocre service, we finally received the right pizza. The right pizza had too many air bubbles and on top of that there was hardly any spinach (read 4 pieces) on half of "garlic chicken & spinach". I understand that it is difficult to work with few staff and crowds (I have experience in the industry myself), but in my view the quality is really substandard. The garlic bread was okay.
The park's chip shop. Just one word: Overpriced, for both the service and the quality! The croquette and cheese soufflé are excellent. The fries are small and undercooked, resulting in a floury taste.
I ordered food with enthusiasm. As a Surinamese, you look forward to a tasty meal that you don't feel like making yourself.
Well...well, what a disgrace. When I saw the food, one word rang in my head: LOESBERE!! (Surinamese for diarrhea).
The food wasn't just visually disappointing, but also smelled and tasted awful! Ugh! So disgusting! The kouseband (fried beans) was slimy and smelled rotten. The tjauwmin moksi tasted sour, and I nearly broke my teeth on the accompanying Fa-shong pork sausage. The bakabana was tough and rubbery, like chewing gum.
I called with my complaints, and the owner was shocked. He very kindly offered a solution and delivered more food. Unfortunately, the second time around, I gave myself a stomachache and almost vomited.
I'll never go there again, and I hope they find another chef soon, because I really wish them the best.
here are some pictures of the stuff.
