We had a delicious traditional meal with our family! Great service, hospitable and friendly.

Delicious bread. No unnecessary additives like in the supermarket. I buy a half, unsliced. It lasts longer :). Also recommended to the international students in our student building. Friendly staff/owners.

Friendly staff. What hospitality! They were so kind to us, especially the traffic controllers who were working at the roundabout. The food tastes great. A truly top-notch restaurant. Highly recommended. I would definitely make a pit stop if you're passing through.

Good fries for a good price, especially for Amsterdam. Great service, friendly staff. Not the most luxurious interior, but that doesn't detract from the cozy atmosphere :)

On our IJsselmeer bike tour, we also stayed overnight at the Yotel in the north of Amsterdam. We had planned to go to the Mexican restaurant across the street for dinner, but it was a private gathering. However, we lingered outside for a while because a three-piece rock band, using an old American road cruiser as a stage, was playing loud and catchy music for the group. We opted for Plan B and went to Bar Boeket, and we weren't disappointed. Unfortunately, it was very chilly that evening, so we couldn't sit in the lovely outdoor area. The bar itself played chilled music, and we found a nice spot. A large bottle of still water was offered on the house—very nice service! Then we ordered the unusual Estaminet Pils from Belgium, something different from the ubiquitous Heineken. We ordered food from the daily menu: white fish for my companion and Limburg Zuurvlees with fries for me, all of which tasted delicious. Conclusion: We really liked the Boeket bar; when the weather is nice, you can also sit outside.

Unfortunately, many products have already been sold out at 11:15.

Cozy city pub in a working-class neighborhood!

Wonderful service with great attention to dietary requirements. Very tasty dishes with elements of traditional Italian cuisine in a more contemporary style. Highly recommend this place!

We had dinner delivered. We ordered the Batavia menu twice and were a bit disappointed that the various side dishes were packaged together. For example, the vegetables in coconut sauce were in one container with the meat in a different sauce, so it was ultimately difficult to tell which was which, and we didn't taste any coconut anywhere. 🙈 The skewers and the peanut sauce were delicious, the rest was good, but we weren't really impressed. Also, the food arrived after 70 minutes instead of 20-40 minutes, with a delivery charge of €5, but we can't say whether that's the restaurant's fault or the Dutch Lieferando service. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to. 🙈

Does anyone know if they moved after the demolition?

We were pleasantly surprised. Authentic Italian food, fresh pasta, and a lovely atmosphere. I had a delicious Aperol Spritz. The owner and the waiter were very kind, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend it.
