Really good, taste like the one i had in Japan.

I recommend their apple crumble and a hot chocolate. Both were excellent. The place was cozy and had a lovely atmosphere.

Super cute place with healthy, simple, and delicious dishes. Spacious, clean, and very quiet. Excellent stop for breakfast and lunch. Very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

This is how Indonesian food should taste. And I should know because I grew up with it. I've been there at least 10 times and have never been disappointed.

Really awful stroopwafel and not at all like the image on the menu. The person making it said that it was impossible to cut it in half for the caramel and instead poured it on top. The wafel itself was also incredibly dry and crumbly

Nice place, friendly service. Menu a bit limited especially if you are vegetarian but the food is rather good and very well presented. Good price for value.

Came accross this Brown Cafe while wondering after a long day out. Great beer and cider, alongside apple pie and old cheese. Perfect way to relax after a long hot day

I had a terrible experience here. Everything was microwaved, that thing was working on overtime. The egg in the Rotie lamsvlees I ordered was grey from being microwaved. The sauce hid nothing, it was clearly microwaved. The bread was dry and disintegrated into sawdust, and the meat wasn't anything special. I considered walking out when I got the food, but didn't (unfortunately) I'm just surprised I didn't get sick on my trip home or days later. Nice enough staff, no complaints. The ambience was okay/subpar, seemed outdated to me. I don't get why this place has such raving reviews about it, did I arrive on a bad day, did I order the wrong thing, did I walk into the wrong establishment? I wish that I had taken some pictures now, to show all this, but it didn't cross my mind at the time.

The best pizza I’ve had in a while. So so good! We have the quatro formaggi & the caprese, and they were both absolutely amazing!!!! No tables inside, but it is worth sitting outside because the pizza I 5 stars. Thin pizza slice and fully fully loaded! Amazing

Directly on Damrak, literally a couple minutes’ walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. One of the most convenient breakfast spots in the city if you’re in/out on a layover. Service is quick — great when you’re on a tight schedule. Very nice cook!!
