During dinner with my family, gravy spilled on my coat while it was being served. This was handled properly on the spot with a damage report. To prevent further damage, I immediately took the coat to the dry cleaner myself – afterwards, it turned out the stain was irremovable. However, regarding compensation, Loetje wants to assess the jacket themselves first, whereas the dry cleaner will only release it once I pay the costs. So, I have to incur costs myself for an attempt that yielded no results before any further consideration is given to compensation. Had I known beforehand that a purchase amount exceeding €250 means the item must be handed over or shipped immediately, I could have left the coat right away. As far as I am concerned, this should be standard practice on the damage report. An unworkable state of affairs, and a reason for our family not to visit here again.

Delicious food and friendly service. Everything arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy inside. The restaurant will be closed for renovations from July 25th to August 2nd, 2026. Afterwards, it will be called MOSA.

A beautiful, spacious place. Kid-friendly. I gave it a 4* for the disappointing brioche bun with a poached egg that didn't even taste poached.

The restaurant no longer exists; we searched for it in vain until we were told it was closed.

Unfortunately, our experience at MOMO Amsterdam started off on a disappointing note right from the moment we entered. The hostess at the entrance came across as very unfriendly, distant, and rude, making us feel completely unwelcome. A warm welcome is precisely the first thing you expect from a restaurant in this price range. Because of her attitude, we felt more like a burden than guests. That immediately set the tone for the evening, which was a real shame. Hospitality starts at the front door, and unfortunately, that is where things fell significantly short. I hope MOMO pays more attention to this, because a friendly reception makes a world of difference. Fortunately, we had a delicious meal elsewhere with a fantastic atmosphere at a much more expensive restaurant than MOMO, which was REALLY worth it!

After I read the reviews for Foodhallen, I thought there would be more vegan options. Regardless, I was relieved to see that Fento had a vegan burrito. In the vegan burrito was bean puree, mixed greens, tomato salsa, sweet potato, red cabbage pickles, rice & beans with a side of cashew crema. The burrito was stuffed with all nourishing things. After eating a lot of sweets, and heavily fried food in Amsterdam, this was refreshing. I felt healthy after eating it, as big as it was. I liked the pressed tortilla, it added a nice crunch. However, the cashew crema made this burrito and pulled everything together. It was good but felt like something was missing.
