This place and Dev the owner present those willing with an opportunity to experience something unique. On entering I knew I was stepping into his world. He gently suggested I slow down, settle in and you will be taken care of. We had a lovely conversation about his life philosophy and incredible knowledge of European bronze sculpture. The food was fresh and the best value for money I experienced in Amsterdam. The iced black coffee was no kidding the best I have ever had in my life. This is a last bastion of authenticity in the city. As Dev says: pay with salt get vinegar. Pay with sugar, get honey. Do not miss.

It’s very nice to find a korean place which serves not only fried chicken/bbq, but also authentic bibimbap! You can order through qr code on the table, that is pretty convenient. Rice and sauce are served separately, which I liked. Very tasty! Definitely coming back for trying more dishes!

Stopped in for a drinks late when most places were closed. Bartender was polite and attentive. She spoke to us about the area and our travel and helped us get a feel for the local area. Good beer selection as well, and a cute cat that enjoyed sitting in the windowsill that we didn't notice until we were leaving.

I recently visited Bakkerij Beyhan, and it quickly became one of my favorite local bakeries! From the moment I walked in, the warm smell of freshly baked bread and pastries filled the air — absolutely irresistible. The selection is amazing: from traditional Turkish baked goods like simit and pide, to delicious croissants, savory rolls, and sweet pastries. Everything looks and tastes incredibly fresh, clearly made with care and skill. I especially loved their börek — crispy, perfectly seasoned, and still warm from the oven. The staff were friendly and welcoming, happy to recommend their best sellers and even explain some of the specialties I hadn’t tried before. The service was quick and pleasant, even during busy hours. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. You really get excellent value here. The bakery is also clean, cozy, and perfect for grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a snack to go.

Had a fantastic evening! I rented Ijcatcher for my birthday. Communication was great, the owner was very helpful, and there were plenty of options. My guests and I had a blast, and I definitely recommend this venue! We brought our own DJs, and Ijcatcher served delicious drinks. Fantastic venue! Thanks to the Ijcatcher team :)
