The food was mediocre, but as soon as you wanted to pay, the atmosphere soured and you were treated rudely. The surroundings were very noisy, with everything packed in tightly. The toilets were absolutely terrible.

Mewsim Restaurant is a fantastic find for anyone looking for authentic and high-quality Asian cuisine. I was immediately impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the modern, clean decor of the dining area. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the flavors are incredibly well-balanced, showing a real commitment to traditional cooking techniques. I spent between €10-20, which is an absolute bargain for the quality and freshness of the food served. The service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive—and the food arrived hot and beautifully presented. Whether you are a fan of classic dishes or looking to try something new, Mewsim provides a consistent and delightful experience. It’s the perfect spot for a casual dinner or a special lunch with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

Well placed near main museums this is a good indonesian restaurant inespensive but clean and well managed worth a visit

Terrible service, or rather, no service at all. First, you sit waiting upstairs for a while, and eventually we just walked to the cashier ourselves to place our order. Then we had to carry our coffees etc. (four drinks) upstairs ourselves via a much too narrow staircase. Another downside is that you can't pay with cash, which really should be possible. The wait time before you get the food is incredibly long, and the cook... he wasn't exactly sociable either. And oh yes, the price-quality ratio is not in proportion to what you get! So I would absolutely NOT eat here. A waste of money.

Happened multiple times now where my order got confirmed and they never show up. They set my order on being delivered and I wait for +2 hours. They don’t pick up the phone either and then they close so I can wake up to another refund in the morning and no pizza.

I've eaten a loooooong amount of Surinamese food, but never as bad as here. Do yourself a favor and walk 300 meters further to the Warungmini on the Ceintuurbaan. You can get good food there, but this place on the Van Wou... gosh... BAD. TASTELESS! And absolutely no service, everything via QR code, self-ordering kiosk, no contact with the customer. If the food was good, I wouldn't mind, but it is truly DISAPPOINTING. Unfortunately, it used to be really good... what happened???!!!

I paid for my food at Burger King, but if I want to wash my hands, I have to pay again just to use the bathroom. Seriously? Charging customers for basic hygiene after you’ve already paid for a meal is beyond ridiculous. This is not just poor service—it’s insulting. A fast-food restaurant should provide clean restrooms as part of the dining experience, not treat them like an extra luxury. Absolutely unacceptable.

It was cozy and the food was delicious!

Delicious ice cream in all kinds of flavors and colors. Reasonable selection of sorbet (lactose-free). Prompt and friendly service, even when it is extremely busy and hot!

The cafe wasn't even open when we got there. It said it was open for 11 a.m., but at 11:15 a.m., nothing was open.
