De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

I've been ordering here for years and I don't recognize anything about it. The food has indeed become more expensive, but it's always delicious and the delivery is fast. Every now and then, it's a bit less, but that's about it. The people are friendly and hardworking. I'm happy with it. I don't know what the atmosphere is like at the company. I ordered a pizza through Thuisbezorgd. After half an hour, I received a message that it would be delivered soon, but it actually took an hour and a half. I called and was told he'd be leaving in a few minutes. I didn't get my food until half an hour later. I thought there was way too much cheese on it. I asked for extra tomato sauce, but there was almost none. It's a shame, but I don't think I'll order again.

I have been a frequent customer of this establishment for many years and have consistently had positive experiences. However, today I encountered a disagreement with a younger staff member regarding the size of my ice cream order. As you can see in the attached photograph, the portion on the left side of the image, which is mine, contains two scoops of ice cream, while the portion on the right side, which belongs to my friend, contains only one scoop. Despite this discrepancy, I was charged double the price for my order. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff member on duty, they responded in a sarcastic manner, stating that the size of my order was the standard portion. Given my history as a loyal customer, I found it concerning that the establishment was unusually empty during my visit, which is in contrast to its typical bustling atmosphere.

Things have gone downhill. There are new ones at the snack bar now. Today I was faced with a closed door.

I recently visited Wok & Roll in Amsterdam twice during my trip, and it was an absolute delight both times! The food was incredibly delicious, with flavors that truly stood out. The dishes were perfectly prepared, fresh, and bursting with taste. The experience was so enjoyable that I’m already looking forward to dining here again the next time I’m in Amsterdam. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional food.

The shop is beautiful, I have to give them that. However, the service is not good, the staff seems to be always in bad mood. And about the food, it's nothing special for the price you pay. Went there a few times to try different things and all of them disappointed me considering the high charges.

What a waste! Needing a quick bite, I tried this gem for a quick bite. It was definitely quick—we were out of there in no time. I wasn't expecting much, but they outdid themselves: very poor quality, zero atmosphere, and completely disinterested staff, more focused on themselves than on customers. On the plus side: the fries were surprisingly good—well-done. Too bad the satay sauce was way too sweet. A gem in North Amsterdam to avoid.

Good vibes Edit here: All these lame people complain about some silly things here - it is a bar that serves nice coffee until 5 pm and is a chill bar afterwards, so if you are a ..., go somewhere else.. Service, drinks and people are fantastic! So go there and enjoy! Club nights are also cool! Would recommend Brazilian nights! PS espresso martini is superb 👌🏻
