Hi, I was there last week with a friend of mine. At the first moment I walked in, the atmosphere was great and the staff members were very polite. After we have ordered the food, the food was very quickly ready. Moreover, the food was delicious. I would certainly recommend it to other people!

Only place in Amsterdam I found that tastes and feels like Japan :))

I went here to try and share some african culture with some of my foreigner friends. When we arrived and sat down, the server immediately asked us in a relatively displeasing tone that he was not expecting us. No where does it indicate that you need to make a reservation on their Google profile. Eventually he left us with some menus. We waited around 10minutes before he came back (note that there was only one other table that was still eating) We wanted to get a combination of vegan options. He told us that we can't do that. He started arguing and we couldn't understand why we couldn't get the vegan combo of our choice. He then eventually told us that we can only eat what they cooked that day. If he communicated that relatively early on we would've been able to decide whether it's worth eating there. When we thought of perhaps going to a different restaurant, he told us to go because he "takes our money and gives us everything". And made a point in saying that he doesn't need us. Eventually we just took what he said we could have just to keep the peace. He kept insisting we order more food even though not all of us wanted to eat and told us we couldn't get 1 serving of a dish but needed to take 2. The food was relatively good with the occasional imbalance of flavour. Perhaps with another server who had better communication skills, we would've enjoyed our "eastern african" experience a bit more.

Lovely bar with a great view next to the water. Atmosphere is very cozy and the people there are very friendly.

Added coconut in the biriyani and when I complained about it the staff said it is our style of making biriyani. No aplogies whatsover. Very bad service and extremely bad food!

Si te gusta el café especial y la música, Black Gold es una experiencia que vale la pena tener. El espresso que probé fue de primera categoría, lleno, con cuerpo y bien equilibrado. El personal era amable y acogedor, feliz de hablar sobre el café sin complicar demasiado las cosas. El espacio es pequeño pero muy distintivo, lleno de discos de vinilo, detalles de madera y un ambiente cálido y acogedor. La música juega un papel clave aquí, así que no esperes un silencio completo. Es ideal para aquellos que quieren disfrutar de su café en un lugar lleno de carácter e inspiración. Puede que no sea ideal para largas sesiones de trabajo o grupos grandes, pero si buscas una auténtica experiencia de café en el corazón de Ámsterdam, es uno de los mejores lugares. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita!

A wonderful restaurant. The owner and the staff were all very hospitable. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the food were very nice. Many treats came to our table.

Small place with typical Dutch cuisine found thanks to the good reviews. They don't have a paper menu but the girl explained everything to us. Typical Dutch cuisine, very good! The pates are out of this world! Both meat and fish, I recommend them. The chicken was also very good. Fast service. Prices are normal for Amsterdam.

Really enjoyed the date at this place. Easy to share meals. A lot of options.
