De beste restaurants in Nieuwmarkt/Lastage Amsterdam

My partner and I visited Amsterdam 5 years ago and visited Krua Thai twice. Back then we both said it was the best Thai food we'd ever tasted. Fast forward 5 years and we came back to Amsterdam and were very happy this place was still there! Once again, the food was incredible. Can't recommend enough. Great service, great food. You will not be disappointed.

First time trying Ethiopian food. It was a great experience! We ordered the mixed plate. A huge plate was served with a big pancake at the bottom. On the pancake are different dishes in small portion, so that we can try a bit of everything. There are different kinds of meat and veggie. All of them were nice. I especially loved the pancake (bread?) that tastes very airy chewy and a bit fermented flavor probably from the yeast. The homemade piri piri sauce was incredible.

Delicious thai food, served the original way. Little joint, off the main road, loved by locals, the kindliest service and always with a smile!

Incredible bar with such a cool bartender. Nice Dutch beers on tap, intriguing art and decorations on the walls. Really great place to have a drink and relax. Will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant, exquisite fish. The fish is of great quality and generous portions. I’ve been here twice now and both times it was cooked to perfection, which is all the more impressive given that the chef is doing everything on his own. The restaurant has a simple setting, and the waiters are kind and accommodating. Of course I’ll be back

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and never disappointed. Best pizza and tiramisu in Amsterdam. I love Il Sogno and their staff. EAT YOUR PIZZA HERE AND HAVE A TIRAMISU FOR DESSERT. (The sandwiches are also delicious)

Uma pequena cafeteria para lanches rápidos, bons cafés é ótima patisserie. Tem um bom café da manhã, um ótimo serviço e bons preços. A atmosfera do café é acolhedora e fraterna, convidando para retorno, que realmente fizemos. Foi nosso local de café da manhã no tempo que ficamos em Amsterdam. Valeu a pena. Recomendo sem ressalvas.
