I order a combo deal, for which the menu states ‘From €16.75, burger of your choice’. What do you mean by ‘from’? Burger A costs a certain amount, and burger B costs a certain amount. Just list the cost per burger.
So, after ordering, you discover what you had to pay extra for your burger. When I brought this up with one of the employees, he indicated that this is correct and that it is a ‘hidden fee’. In other words: they hope you don't realize that certain burgers are more expensive. In reality, only the cheapest burger costs the amount listed on the menu. You pay extra for everything else. How much? You just have to find that out.
According to them, as franchise owners, they couldn't do anything about it, and if we had problems with it, we had to report it to headquarters.
In the end, I pointed out at the cashier one more time that I find it a bit sneaky not to emphasize exactly what every burger costs, to which the manager replied that he expects “people to read more carefully”. Just write down the price per burger; it doesn't seem that difficult to me. But judging by the rest of the reviews, they don't seem to care much about customer satisfaction and friendliness here.
The food was otherwise fine, but nothing special. You eat better (and cheaper) at the more famous neighbor: McDonald's.
I ordered a haircut here recently. I didn't know it was a real salon, but it was covered in hair, damn it, and when I called, they got angry. That was the last time, too. BYE!!!
I have not tried the sea food dishes, but everything else is amazing! Pretty consistent as well. Out of all the orders we've placed it only went wrong once.
I have enjoyed coming here to get fresh bread for over ten years, especially the dark brown round loaf (s3ir). Unfortunately, I have noticed that the quality has deteriorated significantly over the past year.
Yesterday, I visited Afrah Fes’s bakery on Javastraat again. It seems as though the recipe has changed, because there is far too much salt in the bread these days. Additionally, I found a large piece of wood in my bread, which of course absolutely should not happen.
In my opinion, the quality of the bread has clearly declined. I find that very unfortunate, because I always enjoyed coming here.
After having already noticed that the bread was far too salty, I gave it a few more chances. But after my experience yesterday, I’ve had enough.
It is a pity, because I was a loyal customer for years.
i love the pizza here, it’s better than dominos but tell me why lately whenever i order the pizza comes more than an hour late?? the location is close so it should not be that hard if my food is supposedly already on its way. similar to other reviewers i called twice and both times was told that the food was almost here. i have places to be.
The New York pizzas were always our favorite, but yesterday we ordered three or four cheese pizzas, but there was very little cheese on them, they had absolutely no taste, and they were dry. It's such a shame; the cheese was crumbling too. I don't understand how this is possible. I think the oven wasn't on baking but on the grill setting, which causes it to dry out.
Come on, New Yorker pizza makers, pull yourselves together and make delicious pizzas again. Thanks in advance.
Good value for money
Simply delicious food for a good price.
Unfortunately, some of the staff were ill, so we had to wait a long time for all our dishes. There was also a problem with our order. But despite this, we highly recommend it.
They simply do their best to make it a pleasant evening.
Sushi was really well made and tasty also very friendly customer service we didn’t miss anything from our order and even got extra sauces, there is this young blond guy working there very friendly and good customer service
€4.95 for a cappuccino!
There was no price list, so you ordered and then paid. €9.90.
I really thought, "I'm wrong."
What a ridiculous price. And a weak cup, too.
