De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Thank you for your service Jonny!

You cannot use a laptop downstairs even not for work. The staff was polite and nice about but I do not like this policy.

You had to search for chicken in the chicken salad, but it did contain a lot of fried bacon. The service is quick but gives a sluggish/tired impression; our complaint about the chicken went unanswered. You could at least apologize and offer a cup of coffee or something similar.

We had a very pleasant time there! And one of the hosts, Johny, was very hospitable and friendly

I really enjoyed the service/friendliness of the staff and the wonderful food. 1000/10 😍

Delicious food and a nice, personal atmosphere

Well… I’m not easily impressed…. Buuuuut I was so satisfied and satisfied.. Had a delicious meal. Fast service. No small portions. And all the staff were super friendly. In the heart of Amsterdam.. I just love it! Good staff is scarce, but they have it here, which means this place delivers amazing quality and service, ensuring I will definitely be back! Our next reservation is already planned.

The pasta was okay overall, but the ravioli was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed it, and the sauce was rich and full of flavour. Unfortunately, the seafood pasta was the complete opposite. The sauce was very watery and bland, almost like raw tomatoes with no seasoning. There also wasn’t much seafood in the dish, which was disappointing. The ravioli was definitely the highlight of the meal!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food quality is excellent—everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made the whole experience even better. The environment is also wonderful—clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It’s clear that they care about providing a great experience for their customers. I highly recommend this falafel restaurant to everyone. If you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere, this is definitely the place to visit! 🙌🌟

The cook was not present, only toasted sandwiches and apple pie.

Really cool bar, friendly staff. Fab cocktails 🍹

Decent service, long wait and poor quality over priced food

De Sluyswacht is a charming old building right beside the canal, with lovely views and a cosy atmosphere. We were exploring Amsterdam by rickshaw and enjoyed discovering places full of history and character.

A cozy spot to take a break and grab a bite! The entire place, including the kitchen, was spotless, and the staff were super welcoming and friendly. The burgers feature high-quality, juicy meat and fresh, house-made ingredients plus, you can add an extra patty if you're hungry. Our food took a little time to arrive, but we didn't mind at all since it was nice to sit back and relax for a bit.

Exquisite and excellent service. I had Golden Temple Thali accompanied by Yogi Tea.
