Lovely and chill coffee place with a small variety of food. Sadly the focaccia and sandwiches were cold. Almond croissant and blueberry cake were amazing !! Service personnel were friendly and helpful.

excellent food at a good price in the center

I worked as a pastry chef at Bakery Gebroeders Pool for 15 years, and I found it very difficult to go back inside after 31 years. What a beautiful shop it has become, and what delicious quark buns they have. I wish you both much joy and happiness with your wonderful business.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and outstanding food. The fusion of Mexican and Asian cuisine works really well. PS: That homemade ginger-lime juice is amazing! ;)

Asked to sit next to my partner—he is elderly, so dependent on assistance—but it proved impossible to sit side by side in the otherwise empty establishment, so there we sat: crammed together at a tiny black marble table. It felt almost like blasphemy to sit on a church pew, forced to stare up at the greasy windows above us and glowing plexiglass prints of an iris, a glass of ice water, and some other such holy kitsch. This experience, in which the Lord clearly had no hand, was accompanied by background music that would make even a blind person think they had accidentally taken the wrong turn to the Nieuwezijdse Sauna. And then the food: A chocolate mousse that I can only describe as “racially ambiguous”; not pure enough for 2026. Beautiful steak tartare, for which I would lovingly sacrifice my unborn—and never to be conceived—firstborn. A risotto of ten kinds of mushrooms that looked like they had dived straight out of the Atlantic Ocean; salty. And a total failure when it comes to decent non-alcoholic drinks for my old man, a former alcoholic.

I had the 0.0 steak, and I was so incredibly pleasantly surprised! It was truly delicious!

We had a fantastic meal, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were wonderful. It was raining, so it was very quiet, and the setting was really charming. The only downside is the price, which is a bit high, but that's probably due to the truly excellent location.
