Dining on September 23, 2026 – very disappointing experience We drove all the way from Den Bosch to this restaurant specifically after seeing several positive videos and reviews on TikTok. Unfortunately, our experience did not match what is portrayed there at all. The atmosphere was very dead and unwelcoming. To us, it felt more like we were eating in a department store than having a nice dinner out. However, the biggest problem was the food. The sushi was remarkably tough and did not come across as fresh at all. The sashimi was also a huge disappointment. My girlfriend even noticed a strange, almost soapy taste in some pieces. Furthermore, we felt that much of the sushi had hardly any flavor. The only thing we really liked was the fried salmon. In the end, we paid about €85, and for that price, I simply expect a much higher level of quality, taste, and experience. After all the positive attention on TikTok, our expectations were high, but we do not understand those reviews at all after our visit. Based on our experience, I would not eat here again and cannot recommend the restaurant. For €85, in my opinion, there are plenty of other places where you can have a much better evening and better sushi. Date of visit: September 23, 2026.

We had a decent meal, not too expensive but not cheap for what we ordered.

Absolutely everything in this restaurant is filthy, including insects enjoying it, except for the cutlery, fortunately. The soup was okay. I don't think I'll be eating here again.

Good food, small portions, way too expensive. Filled with a huge number of colorful flowers. Uninviting.

Slow but polite service. We ordered a truffle burger and a pulled pork burger. The meat in the truffle burger was terribly stale. The pulled pork burger was completely ordinary—just bread, pork, and lettuce. The french fries tasted of old oil. The sweet potato fries were completely burnt.

Had a delicious meal in a relaxed setting, great!! The dishes are tasty and fresh. A small tip from me: More could be done regarding accessibility; an accessible toilet, in particular, would not be an unnecessary luxury for such a large restaurant.

A charming spot in Leiden where you can always count on a good time. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the food and drinks are fine. Definitely worth a visit!

In the middle of October, the door was left wide open; they refused to close it, took our jackets, and handed them back to us, telling us we could just put them on if we were too cold. There was a long wait to be served. The meal was bland and nothing special. The waitress was nice, but the manager, not so much.

For my 27th birthday on October 11th, I had made a reservation for a party of 6 people. It was a huge success from start to finish! The welcome was warm with congratulations, the decor was beautiful, and the start was friendly regarding drinks and recommendations. The food was also delicious in every dish. We enjoyed it immensely and gave our compliments to the staff. You crowned my birthday with this wonderful evening!
