The food itself is okay. I order something every now and then.
But after the new opening... They're treating customers differently, you know. The atmosphere is gone. Long faces. And with the "2nd pizza free" offer, I mentioned it to the cashier. He shook his head very slowly, "no." I said, "There are signs everywhere saying, "2nd free," etc. Again... I shook my head, "no."
Then I thought, fine, just one pizza then. Paid the full price. I found out later that you had to order it online. ...well... he could have just said, "I should have done that on the spot and picked it up right away."
Reported it to customer service. I received a polite apology email. They're communicating with the branch. I received an email asking for details about where and when I ordered, including my full name, bank statements, etc. I explained as above, and after a week of back-and-forth emails, I received the final response: the offer only applies if you ordered on the website. 🤦🏻
...Never mind.
Café De Snor is recommended for those who want a pleasant evening out with a nice atmosphere and good service. The service is friendly and fast, even at busier times. Perfect for an evening with friends.
I've always had a good experience, good service, and good value for money. But today I saw that they've raised the prices even further and reduced the portions (the fries were too small compared to the previous portions).
This is the best way to lose customers.
On Sunday, September 28th, around 7:06 PM, I called New York Pizza. I was helped by a young man who completely ignored my requests, didn't let me finish speaking, and was also very rude and impolite. I find this behavior unacceptable.
Furthermore, the delivery didn't go smoothly. The order was delivered to the wrong door, and I was missing a Fanta. Only after I pointed this out did the delivery driver have to go back to get my Fanta.
What made the situation even worse was that I asked the delivery driver who I'd spoken to on the phone. He laughed at me and refused to give me the employee's name. I find this very disrespectful and unprofessional.
I understand that it can be busy, but that's no excuse for treating customers this way or for delivering an incorrect or incomplete order. I kindly but urgently request that you take appropriate action to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Very friendly service, steep prices, delicious food. It's not worth making a special trip just for the food. Only worthwhile if you're already in the area. Restaurant prices are comparatively very high.
A friend of mine who has been living in the Netherlands for YEARS, speaks fluent Dutch and is now a Dutch citizen was sent away by the security guard because he showed a "residence permit" as proof of identity. According to the security guard, this would not be valid and he was denied access.
As someone who works in security (grey pass) and often comes into contact with this, I am deeply ashamed of such people.
A foreigner's document and therefore a residence permit are valid proof of Dutch identity.
Another funny fact is that a group of boys are checked in front of us and then let in by means of a photo of their ID on their phone, which is not a legally valid way of identifying yourself.
I would recommend a refresher course in basic security law and regulations for the gentlemen standing at the door. Disgusting behavior.
A great gas station with average high prices (there are definitely places with lower prices), a nice savings program from Shell, but also the coins for sandwiches
Very disappointing experience. Price-quality below par. Dishes are prepared in advance and you can taste it immediately. Ingredients lack flavor and are of terribly low quality.
The Courteous Herald charges restaurant prices for substandard industrial kitchens in an outdated refectory. To avoid!
The food was inedible, had no taste, nothing about it, the wraps were not fried, it was just thrown in a container, a mess and the hot wings were blacker than black
