De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

The food was stunning, scenery matched. You can come here across any budget - they have affordable steaks all the way through to the Kobe beef. Sides are a great size, will definitely be returning.

I normally don’t post on these places, but this experience was really bad. We waited a long time for the food, all the servers’ attitude was horrible (except for one), they misplaced our order and when they fixed it they then charged us for both, when asked to remove their mistake from the final check, the waiter just looked at us and refused because “we had eaten it” when we had just a few bites and took out to - go order back. Horrible experience. Would not recommend. A shame.

Great place with amazing service. Loved the food and will be back when I have the next urge for Indian food.

They really had a good plan! The ice cream is delicious, full of flavor! The money.. well it was expensive, but you cant fight chance, can you? Btw i loved Arthur (He served my icecream, very nice server) 10/10

Absolutely amazing pizza, the taste was outstanding and surprisingly light. I usually can’t finish a whole pizza, but this time I didn’t want to miss a single piece. The presentation matched the photos perfectly, and the flavor was even better than expected. I really loved it. The only downside was the service at the entrance. We had a reservation, but it was quite difficult to find someone to help us get seated. There seemed to be only one person managing this, which led to some confusion and a bit of frustration among guests waiting in line and not having nice attitude towards us, It wasn’t the best first impression, and I hope this process can be improved. Overall, the food itself was excellent and definitely worth it.

Not recommended. Mediocre restaurant. Ordered 3 simple tapas meals that took around 40 mins to arrive when the place was half full. Food was average at best. Staff not polite. Location central and good!

For me, this was a complete restaurant experience—from the food and service to the atmosphere and hospitality. It deserves 5 stars not only for the service but also for the genuine hospitality. Even though it's located in the city centre, it's still away from the main tourist crowds, so you get a much more local feeling. The food was excellent (compliments to the chef!), and the waiters were attentive throughout the whole evening. They were clearly well-trained but also knew how to make the experience feel personal. For example, the couple sitting next to us shared one dessert, and the staff brought them an extra scoop of ice cream so they could both enjoy it. Small gestures like that don't cost much, but they show that the staff really care about their guests. We had the three-course menu, and the portions were just right. Dinner lasted about 2.5 hours, which felt perfect for this type of restaurant. After that, we stayed for another two hours, enjoying drinks and conversation, and nobody made us feel like we had to leave—which, unfortunately, is something you often experience in Amsterdam. The interior is elegant without feeling too formal. It's a great place for a special occasion with your partner, but it's just as suitable for a relaxed dinner with friends. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious canned coffee, drinks, and other delicacies!

Food: Great traditional Japanese food, served with style. It felt like an art form. Venue: There are a limited amount of tables (which we enjoy because it's more private that way) Air conditioning was great as well, as it as ~37 celcius outside. Staff: Every staff member was knowledgeable about our allergies. They were kind and always available to answer questions. We had some great conversations with the staff! Quite expensive, but if you like Japanese food, this is a must visit restaurant!

Quite okay, a bit expensive for what it is. We had an eggs Benedict and pancakes. The Benedict was good but the pancakes were very boring with scant toppings.

I really like the food and the vibes!! Will definitely come back:) The service was super gezzellig!
