De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Cashier ignored us while we were waiting in front of the register for more than 5 minutes. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. We left without getting served.

We visit twice a year around our birthdays, and every time the experience remains fascinating and delicious. The team provides a very warm and attentive service in their beautiful traditional Japanese “ensemble” and the wine selection is excellent. The sommelier is highly knowledgeable and shares his expertise with genuine passion. Thank you.

Really good place, love the atmosphere. The service was incredible. The Bloody Mary was amazing. Also the food. Nice place to brunch with family and friends. 10/10 will come back for sure.

Food was good! The staff was also very welcoming! Just the virgin sangria was quite pricy (25€ for 1L)

This is an excellent restaurant on every level. Our group was looking for a restaurant with traditional Dutch cuisine, and the food we ordered was absolutely fantastic. Service was warm and attentive, and if we were staying longer in Amsterdam I have no doubt that we would have eaten here a second time - it was that good! Highly recommend

I've been to several cafes in Amsterdam, and this one has been my favorite. Why? ☕️ - They have a spacious seating area. You can use your laptop at some of their round tables. - The coffee is specialty coffee, and they roast it themselves. I recommend the LA DONNA variety for the oatmeal coffee. - They use ROA oat milk, which I haven't seen in many places, and it tastes amazing. - Water is available to take to your table in large pitchers. - Nuria's service was fantastic; the experience was wonderful, and she gave us great recommendations. I did wish they had a wider selection of pastries for breakfast, but the bread with cheese was delicious. - The prices are similar to other places in Amsterdam. A cappuccino is €3.80. - They're open from 8 am to 6 pm almost every day.

I booked in advance for Christmas Day and it was a complete success. The service was excellent and the quality of the meat was superb.

I had a wonderful evening at De Hemelse Modder! It was a bit of a struggle to choose, as the menu offered delicious meat, fish, and vegetarian options. This time I chose the pan-fried cod with beurre blanc, fennel, and mashed potatoes, perfectly prepared and served. For my starter, I had the burrata with roasted tomatoes, basil oil, and crispy bread—so delicious! To finish, I had the Hemelse modder (always a favorite 😋). Thank you for the charming service and the wonderful evening!

Great shop, chill vibes, menu is top tier, hunters lemon personal fave. Good deals on at the min too and in the festive spirit.

It is permanently closed and they are unreachable. They apparently do not refund the prepaid reservations since they are nowhere to be found.

I received the best service here. When I accidentally spilled my soup during the meal, the waitress handled the situation professionally and quickly, and she did not show any sign of displeasure or inconvenience. When I felt apologetic, she told me that it was nothing, that it was alright, and that it happens often. I deeply appreciated her gentle and friendly manner.

I ordered the yogurt bowl with fruit, and well… there was hardly any fruit, and it wasn't anything special. It was expensive for what you get. My friend had a burger, and it wasn't anything special either. The coffee was good.

Otemba never disappoints! It’s my favorite ramen in town and feels like traveling to Asia. The venue is cozy and stylish, with friendly and helpful staff! Ricardo is the best waitress ever! I can’t recommend this place more. 10/10!

Feels like an authentic Spanish bar (it isn’t hard to imagine that you’re in Madrid). We loved the atmosphere, the people who attended us, the (natural) wine and of course the food!! Highly recommended
