The food was very fresh and delicious.
The restaurant has a beautiful, clean, and pleasant atmosphere.
The owner and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and you can truly feel the warmth and sincerity of Indian hospitality in their behavior.🇮🇳🧡
Often, money is not hard at all to earn but the chance is always reserved for those who are BOLD to fool customers sufficiently. Why you reckon that no Japanese cuisine lovers from the original and adjacent region are living in Amsterdam, or, to expand to the whole Netherlands? I saw a recommendation from a JAPANESE website giving out an anthology of authentic Japanese which strongly recommends here, but… Torikawa(Chicken Skin) are burnt like char, and 1800 yen was charged for ONE STUCK?? What’s more, cabbages and onion slices were present around 30% in a bowl of Ramen?? I was indeed shocked and speechless about such refinement! Please, as you’re still utilizing Japanese on plaque above entrance and in menus, do not let your cuisines off the track.
A small Italian restaurant you could easily walk right past. Highly recommended! The menu is small, so everything is wonderfully fresh, and the staff is always on hand to make sure everything is to your liking. We'll definitely be back. Don't be put off by the close-knit tables. When it's busy, it's definitely worth the wait.
I bought a Roti Docks for €19. The price alone is exorbitant, especially for a roti without eggs. But the portions? In 2025, this is simply unacceptable. It's a rip-off to charge so much for so little food, and besides, it tastes awful. It's a shame because Roopram is known as one of the best roti restaurants in Amsterdam, but they've gone downhill dramatically. Hopefully, they can learn from their customers' experiences.
Authentic food, served with passion. We arrived unexpectedly on a Monday afternoon but were made very welcome.
I'm familiar with Spanish cuisine, but my partner isn't, and he also left impressed after a delicious sandwich.
The lady serving us commented on our appearance, easily recognizable by our musical tastes, and she told us she also enjoys going to the same bands. It was fun to chat with her about music.
The atmosphere was a 4 instead of a 5 because we were the only guests, so it was otherwise very quiet.
A place who have the most disrespectful workers. This bar have a station for portable powerbank, which is controlled by its own app, does have nothing to do with the bar. I was stranded in the snow and trying to get a powerbank to charge my phone so I can see the possibilities to reach my home. They were either getting ready or what, but their door was open, although I beg to take powerbank (payment is being done directly in the app, nothing to do with bar) - lady there said they are close and she was really disrespectful, I kept my nice and explain the situation - however she did not allow me to take a powerbank.
I don't know which one is worse, being cold and heartless to not help a person who got stranded or being insanely rude and disrespectful when refusing doing that. I was their customer, but absolutely not anymore.
