This place is amazing—we had a reservation for Saturday dinner and tried the rice table, including veg/meat/fish! It’s a wonderful way to sample a wide variety of dishes, and our favorites were the beef rendang, fried eggplant, cod and the goat skewers!

Amazing experience, the horse is out of this world.

Bad service, and even a gas station has tastier food than them. Plus, not a single one speaks the language.

Very good food, although I personally think the excessive sauce changed the taste a bit. The staff were friendly, and the place was small, but there were two seats inside and a table outside.

Simply amazing for all the cheese-heads out there. The menu is full of tantalising options with something for everyone: mild or spicy, creamy or hard, sweet or salty...there is no way you won't find something suitable for you (unless you don't like cheese at all, in which case stop reading and continue your sad, cheese-less existence). And if the 30+ options of cheese sound overwhelming, don't worry, the staff is more than happy to help, and there is the option to let the chefs pick something for you. So don't be afraid and EMBRACE THE CHEESE. P.S. The merch is FIRE 🔥🔥

I had a rather wonderful meal, and it was a great value for money. I went for the four-course chef’s menu, and I loved every dish. The flavours were perfectly balanced. The starter, confit cod, was very refreshing. The main course, pork neck, was incredibly tender, dressed in a sweet caramel and balsamic like sauce, which was very nice. And the dessert? It tasted like a white chocolate mousse with ice cream in the middle, all dressed in strawberry sauce, and it was absolutely fantastic. Would go back anytime

​My BFF and I wanted to grab a quick bite, and we stumbled across a really cool place with a full menu and lots of vegan options. The outdoor seating faces a canal, and since it’s a large space, there's plenty of indoor seating as well. ​I ordered an Americano with non-dairy milk, which came with a beautiful presentation and a little chocolate on the side. My friend ordered a vegan hot dog. While the presentation was absolutely stunning - complete with a bright red beet bun - the bun was unfortunately toasted too much and very dry. There was also just a lot happening with the hot dog overall, so even though I wanted to take a bite, I wasn't able to. ​Even with the food was a bit of a miss, it’s a cute place if you just want to take a breather and relax for a little bit. Just came for the vibe, and vibe I got. 🛹☕️ Skatecafe is the kind of place that makes you stay longer than planned. An open kitchen, a laid-back crowd, and people from every corner of Amsterdam under one roof. Noord at its best.
