The best local pub in De Pijp! I come here regularly and it really feels like a kind of second living room. The staff is always very friendly and quick, which you don't often see in the neighborhood. I celebrated my birthday here recently too and they were all very flexible and accommodating. I was very happy! Definitely recommended, also for watching football on the big screen!
Very average coffee at the price of a specialty one. We also found the food quite average and the music was too loud. When we asked the staff to lower the volume to we were told it is not possible and controlled by the office 😆 ... Best to head to another coffee / breakfast place nearby - not recommended except maybe for a beer.
Best Indian food in town! Have been ordering here for 15 years, since I moved to Amsterdam. The food is always delivered fast and warm. And the quality has always been consistent. Very kind and friendly people.
The middle aged long curly haired guy is so rude, he hates you and makes sure you know it. Closing the bar without asking for last call, just hating his job in general. Idk what to say avoid him maybe.
5:05 PM, just arrived at TORO ASADO with mats for his birthday and got a free cake.
Pros:
Friendly staff
Good atmosphere
Nice sofa
We got a free drink.
Sperips:
Sweet and delicious.
Hot and delicious, a bit too hot, could be a bit less.
Barbecue not my thing.
Fries were delicious and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Cons:
Dirty toilet.
Drinks €3.
Tables were a bit too large.
Otherwise, great. I'll be back.
Delicious! And Mrs. Maria is quite a character. It was a pleasure to meet her and share a meal with such a beautiful woman, feeling right at home. The food was delicious, everything was spectacular.
As promised, I would leave an honest review. A wedding was organized here and everything was simply good. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the decoration was also very beautiful. I definitely recommend it. Thanks for everything.
Authentic Cantonese food in Amsterdam!
Golden Chopsticks serves flavorful, home-style dishes that really remind me of meals back in China. The garlic scallops and stir-fried greens were especially good. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair prices. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving real Chinese food.
Great corner for people watching but that's where the good remarks end. Very expensive apple pie that looked great, but was very dry and not so tasty. Coffee was 4/10, far too warm and had coffee grounds in it; in addition the service was terrible. We had a waitress who tried to walk away before we had even finished our order and was very cold.
This restaurant is really great; we had chicken which was delicious with a perfectly paired sauce. Be aware of the smell of urine near the restrooms. For two people, three courses and two drinks came to less than €50.
