What a disaster this place is
Ordered simple milkshakes and iced coffee but the order number kept not appearing
Scorching busy and everyone in front of me was getting
Asked and it had just been sitting on a shelf ready for a whole time
Furthermore, it was overcrowded and dirty, and I had the feeling I saw a hamburger flying in between that was thrown at the staff
Wanted to sit upstairs for a bit, have a drink, and charge my phone, but there was no power from any of the sockets upstairs
We ate at Brafoer again tonight. We have been here regularly, and so far, it has always been good. However, tonight was a real letdown. We had something to celebrate tonight, so we thought that was a good reason to go out for dinner. Our son has been in a wheelchair for the past eight weeks due to a broken leg, which he sustained by jumping from the third floor of his burning house. Today, after a long, hot summer, his cast was finally allowed off, so it was a good reason to go out for a nice meal. Everything was to our liking; all the waitresses were very friendly, and all compliments to them. The food was delicious too. The letdown came when a young waiter came to our table and said the following to our son: "Sir, could you please put your trousers back on?" I thought he was joking. My son said, "I am wearing trousers," after which the young man left. It was shorts because that is the only thing he has been able to wear for the past eight weeks; perhaps the young man took offense at this, I have no idea. We were actually perplexed. Let me explain the situation. Our son lost everything he owns in a fire, and when I say everything, I really mean everything. The only thing he has left is the clothing he was wearing when his house burned down. So that includes the shorts he was wearing tonight. We were just making a joke of it at the time because we saw that our son was feeling very embarrassed. But it still doesn't sit right with me. The young man saw that there was a wheelchair at our table, so he could have thought for a moment before saying this, or asked what was wrong with him. We didn't see the young man again for the rest of the evening; it might have been nice to receive an apology for his hasty and incorrect assumption.
Once again, the food was delicious, the waitresses were great, but this dinner, which was meant to be a celebration, unfortunately left a bitter taste because of this.
I don't usually write bad reviews so quickly, but I just wanted to get this off my chest.
The food is fine, but then: the fries sauce isn't included with the order. When you try to ask for it at the counter, the staff keep chatting, look at you, but completely ignore you. I never received two products for which I redeemed points. The points were deducted, though. But still, I didn't get them. Just get rid of that point system then, if you're not going to give the products anyway. At the delivery vans, it says you have to enter a table sugar; they aren't there. When asked, you get a blunt sigh and an irritated "just enter number 1 and pick it up yourself at the counter." Not my system, you know. Then organize it differently. You wouldn't get those questions then. And then last but not least: I find it truly outrageous that as a paying customer you have to pay for the toilet. It used to be free. After that, paying customers got a token. But not even that anymore. So, this is our last visit to this McDonald's.
I just wanted to order a quiet burger, but the lady at the counter couldn't even speak Dutch and was difficult to understand, which resulted in her scanning me for the wrong burger. I went back and paid an extra 4 euros because it wasn't right. Then I had to wait longer, only to be given cold burgers. I am not happy with this!
We simply had pancakes and drinks. The pancake was very good. The prices are typical for this touristy area. Special mention goes to the truly exceptional kindness of the gentleman who served us. He shared some excellent sightseeing itineraries with us and made the effort to speak a few words in our language. Thank you very much!
After having a less-than-good experience here years ago, we decided to give it another try. The food is good, and the service is quick. The interior looks a bit 'unattractive'. It is a large space with tables and little other decoration.
I am never going here again
The food tastes like nothing
I think it was sitting there all day or is old; the meat was tough, inedible
I actually got diarrhea from those 2 bites I took of that food
My husband too
Way too expensive for tasteless food
Oh yeah, the fried shrimp smelling like dirty old oil
OMG never again
Worst birthday ever
I want my money back, I paid, ate nothing
